After deciding on the basic parts, I went through my box of spare heads looking for something suitable. Found a Good To Go head. I have always seen Hawk as a little older than the rest of the Joes, and I wanted a look that reflected the early artwork in the comics, but with a version of the second outfit he had as a figure. I am very happy with the way the head turned out, and I was delighted when i found the helmet and the fact that it fits on the head without scraping the paint off. The look I was going for is a grittier, hard-ass version of Hawk.
The Wild Bill torso was severely sanded down and the flight jacket was added with epoxy clay.
