That's sweet! It really works and I'm eagerly waiting to see how the hat fits.

well, when i made mine he didn't have them yet, so i used a hat from a Alpine fig...i just cut it off, and glued it to the top of my "Cutter" head, so it's not removeable...so i'm just as curious as you are to see it...not sure if you noticed but he alsop has a "Cutter" head that looks pretty good too, and i think he has a pic of the hat on it...if you shoot him a e-mail he'll probably let you know how well the hat you ordered fits onto the ACE head...

Great Job.........You may want to paint over the Chevrons on his right arm though. Coasties never wore there Chevrons on their undress blue uniforms.......plus Cutter was an Officer so he wouldn't have them anyway.
Awesome Job on the lone Coastie in GI Joe.....I keep wishing they would update him. (I'm a Coastie myself) Great Job though. |

a little rubbing with some Enamal thinner has worked for me at removing Ships tattoo, the grey cammo stripes on v2 SS when i wanted a hooded v1, Gung-Ho's tattoo...as long as the place your removing the stamp from isn't also a painted part you will be okay...

Yeah, that hat from Alyosha will fit. I ordered it along with the Hovercraft Pilot head. I'm still waiting for my Shipwreck/Copperhead, but after seeing your custom I put the hat on my legless Ace and it fits great. Now I regret buying the head.
