Non G.I. Joe Sharktopus

I've got another finished project. This is one I made for my son for his birthday (it's a little late). He loves the Asylum/SyFy movies and this is one of his favorites.



I took a shark toy from Toys R Us and a rubber octopus toy cut them up and combined them together.



Then I painted the whole figure. I've found that painting shark skin realistically is a real pain in the butt. I'm not 100% satisfied with it, but after 4 time repainting it I was happy enough to call it good.

That. Is. AWESOME!! That was the greatest SyFy movie I've ever seen. And by that, I mean it was so bad that it had me rolling with laughter the entire time. But it's not supposed to be a comedy. But it was great.

But this figure is amazing... if you're son doesn't like it/want it, let me know!!

Pretty sweet/twisted idea, I'm sold.
With the left over parts you can make a Octopark.
