Kind of a double
What If?!?
Deep within the bowels of the PIT, there is a super secret project going on within GI Joe's walls. It's called the "Super Soldier" program. Every day soldiers are volunteering for testing of a new serum that will create Super Solders out of normal ones. Steve Rogers is one of those volunteers...
Steve is given a dose of the serum, and immediately falls into a deep coma! Several days later, however, he awakens, and is 10X the soldier he was before! Donning a red, white and blue costume, Steve takes on the code name "Captain: America" and leads GI Joe into battle against the evil forces of COBRA!
On one mission, Steve and his team are sent to a supposedly abandoned warehouse that is being used as a front for COBRA activity. Upon arriving, Captain America and his team witness Dr. Mindbender doing his own "Super Soldier" experiments on COBRA Troopers. Using something Captain America overhears called "Gamma Radiation" Dr. Mindbender is able to transform regular COBRA soldiers into huge, monstrous beasts! As Captain America and his team attack, Steve confronts Dr. Mindbender, only to be grabbed by one of the transformed COBRA "hulks". Mindbender orders Captain American tossed into the Gamma Radiation chamber, and Dr. Mindbender doses him with Gamma Rays, transforming Steve Rogers into a mindless freak!
OK, I have to admit that this wasn't created specifically for this contest, but it was a commission from an ebay buyer. But I thought I would post it here for fun anyway. Feel free to disregard it if that breaks the rules, or if it's too "out there" for consideration.
