This is the official thread for the G.I. Joe Zombie Month HISS Tank.com Custom Contest.
What we are looking for........... Execution of paint apps Execution of modifying parts Creativity Overall presentation Contest Rules: *You must be a member in good standing here on the Tank. *Your custom Zombie must be, at the very least, 80% comprised of 25A parts. *Your Zombie can be a G.I. Joe or Cobra Team Member. *Your Zombie must have a custom BITE MARK. It can be painted, cut, sculpted or anyway you come up with to show the bite damage. *The contest will run through October 31st, giving everyone enough time to get there submission in! Please do not wait for the last day to post your entry. We reserve the right to close the contest early. *Limit of 2 entries per member. You can spread these out over 2 different threads, or list them all in the same thread. That choice is yours. When you are done posting your entry inside the custom's forum, place the link to your entry inside this thread. *Each Member must post their own thread(s). For example, "you" and I couldn't post our customs in the same thread, but you can post all 2 of your customs in your own. *MODS can enter, just can't win. *We reserve the right to change the rules for any reason at anytime. The contest is for fun and will always be run that way. The Staff will pick the top 3 Finalists. Then YOU will vote and decide who wins! Now, on to the fun part - The Prize! The grand prize winner will receive TBA. Second Place will receive TBA. Third Place will receive TBA. So what are you waiting for? Cool, I am a huge zombie fan. Maybe more then I am a joe fan. I have been thinking of making some zombies but I have never done a custom before. Maybe I will start one.

I would like to address the 80% rule if I may. It's used every time (for figs anyway) & I assume the intent of the rule is that the final result should 'feel' like a 25th/Modern Era fig. I like & agree with that intent. Could this rule be reworded to allow for more creativity? For example, a figure using Indy arms might be breaking that rule. A figure using a Tri-Gate torso definitely is.
How about as long as the scale & articulation match?
