hehe.... had to to it.

The "subject" got "dispatched" because he failed the BIO/CHEM scan upon return... its all in the subtitles but flashes through pretty quick.

Anyhow, turns out, those lampreys officer style helmet have a bad reputation for faulty hose connections.... same story when that paticular helmet is used for "other" things.

Him being off'd in that fashion seemed like a very Cobra-esque way to handle the situation. And in the end, it was still cheaper for Cobra this way than take the chance of losing a remote drone

Great work on the montages, Sean. I apologize for not getting anything done for this contest. As usual, I got sidetracked by too many other projects and the result was nothing got done :(

Too bad you volunteer your time and money to do something for the customizers of this site and get the community involved but you can't get a little help with getting the word out on the front page. What gives?

Thanks Man, don't worry about not getting something in. Business happens. I could not be happier with the results of my first ever contest. Six different entrants, more than 20 individual pieces, a number of them dios, vehicles, and accessories. I could not have asked for more. I think if it is ok with the group I will sponsor another contest next year. Maybe not at Christmas this time though.

Just wanted to say congrats to everyone on some awesome entries. Also a massive thanks to Sean for running the contest and on a subject I'm mental about .

Thanks Sean! Awesome contest and theme. I Never thought I stood a chance after seeing the other entries into the contest! Congrats to all and thanks again to Sean/Asphalt for making us all winners. I had tons of fun with this one!

As a side note, my wife, with good intentions, knowing how stoked I was about my dio while making it and watching everyones reactions, created a tank account and voted for me. She also added her own post on page one on what she thought was the best submission, mine of course. I contacted Sean out of guilt, feeling that only our fellow tankers and peers should vote based on thier choices and with the thinking of "one vote per household".....one of my votes, was cast by myself already. Anyhow, long story short, in my mind I tied for third and sector_15 is the one and only 2nd place victor. Again, this is just something I felt I needed to share with all as I think that if others were to have thier partners vote, it would have changed the outcome a bit.

Sorry I didn't finish and enter mine. I couldn't find a suitable base for it and when I did, I saw Dave's entry and that is almost exactly what mine would have looked like, only with angled rocks instead of round ones.
