To celebrate the first 25 chapters, All That Remains is hosting it's inaugural Custom Contest.
What is the challenge? This is a 2 part challenge:
Part 1:
Pick an obscure character from the following list. Create a custom of that character that will fit into the ATR verse. NEW / ORIGINAL characters ARE allowed and encouraged so long as they fit the ATR verse
(When you claim your figure, say that your entry is a new / original character).
Part 2:
Write a short ATR style fanfic for the character. The story must fit into the existing ATR verse. It can be a complex narrative with overlapping sequences or simply a story of how some one bit it. It's all up to you.
Construction:
Parts can come from any 3 3/4" figure line (RAH, 25th, Marvel, DC, etc).
How to Enter:
1) Create a post in the 2011 ATR CONTEST ENTRY thread:

2) You must include a minimum of 4 CLEAR images of the entry in the post.
At least 1 image must be unaltered and show the whole figure in front of a blank background.
For the others the sky's the limit, dios are encouraged.
3) You must include your ATR fanfic with the entry. Again this can be a short story of their unfortunate demise, a longer story of survival, or anything in between.
The Other Stuff:
This contest is open to anyone, all you need to do is become a member of the ATR site.
There is no limit on number of entries per person. Although each entry must be posted separate and each entry claimed.
Entries are DUE MAY 31, 2011 by 11:59 pm (2359)
The custom must be a new custom made specifically for this contest.
Once you have posted your figure on the ATR site and entered, you may post the entry elsewhere. In order for your entry to remain valid any posts not on the ATR site must not be full galleries (2 images max please) and you MUST link back to your ATR entry.
PRIZES:
1st Prize will include:
A custom figure of yourself in the ATR style made by SGCaper as well as an accompanying story and an on-going role in the ATR verse.
A choice of prizes from the prize list totaling up to $100.00.
2nd Prize will include:
A custom figure of yourself in the ATR style made by SGCaper as well as an accompanying story and a role in the ATR verse.
A choice of prizes from the prize list totaling up to $50.00.
JUDGING:
Judging will be made by myself, SGCaper and the Mods of ATR.
Judging will be based on:
A) Creativity of figure
(This is a custom contest so effort is important).
B) Creativity of story
(Remember your story, regardless of length, must fit into the ATR style).
C) Presentation
(Remember you have to post at least 4 pics; 1 clear picture of the figure in front of a blank background. For the other 3 pics the sky's the limit. More pics may not increase your chance of winning but the more the merrier so they say).
