I wouldn't mind having that base; looks kinda cool.

I may be alone here, but I'm not interested in any of this stuff. First of all, if these had been 25th style figs, I'd be thrilled; however, most of these characters have already been done in o-ring. Sure, they may be hard to obtain, but they're already out there.
As for the other extras, I think a modern day military force like the Red Shadows driving around in a WWII-era car is stupid. I'm not a big fan of the Red Shadows base, as all it really is is a door. Lastly, if I'm going to a Joe con, I expect Joe items. I don't like the idea of the extras being reused from completely different lines. There's a reason I didn't buy the Indy car and a reason why I don't collect the Star Wars line, and to get these as the Con souvenirs leaves a bad taste in my mouth. That being said, I know a lot of people are really happy at these items, and I'm glad that you're pleased. They're just not my cup of tea. |

The base isn't bad. They're not what I was expecting.
Was Lifeline ever a member of Action Force? That's kind of odd. I was expecting Beaver and not Dolphin. I'm not sure yet....

Wasn't the original Action Force medic codenamed Doc, the one this one is based on? I think it was, but I could be remembering wrong. Maybe they just didn't want that confusion.

Why not just call it Action Force Doc like the Joe Doc was called G.I. Joe Doc. It's weirder calling it Lifeline. It's a Lifeline figure repainted to match the Action Force Doc. Just odd.

I got the vehicle and base, passed on the figures. The base is a cool idea, and I don't mind the vehicle. We see antique cars all the time being used by characters in comics and movies and think it's just soooo cool...but let just one international terrorist with dreams of world domination choose a non-fuel efficient but cool looking ride to trick out and the whole world turns against him!
The club does some amazingly creative stuff with what they get access to, IMHO! |

...Wow. Any resemblance between those and ANYTHING to do with Q Force WHATsoever is purely coincidental. Seriously; ball dropped, and HOW.
And what the hell is that staff car all about? The original Red Shadows toys featured a red HISS renamed the Hyena; why not just do that instead with new paint apps? That would have absoutely rocked. The only things that I have anything more than a passing interest in this year are the box set, Gaucho and Jammer. That would have been an INFINITELY better idea. Especially after the SAF Hawk we got last year. |

Beaver would have been perfect. A kayak is more of a river vehicle then ocean (though it can be used in the ocean) and Dolphin is more ocean orientated with Beaver being more tundra and forest.
