25th
O-Ring is the past, should remain in the past.

25th all the way. Better construction and durability. O ring was the past (and good enough for 20 years), 25th is the present and hopefully lasts just as long as the O ring did.

I think most of the items should be 25th/Modern BUT I think at least a 3-pack or something should be ARAH molds each year.
They do the 12" as homage to the original GIJOEs. Doing some O-Ring ARAH molds for the Con seems a proper way to honor the 3.75" legacy.

O-ring. It's the only way we will ever continue to see them. 25th/ME style will continue regardless; regardless of the fact that the hands, feet and heads pop off so easily along with the numerous other flaws that will prevent them from lasting 20+ years.

I really don't care which way they go, but I guess if I had to make a choice, I'd prefer o-ring. This is the kind of poll you really need to be at the collector's club panel at the con for to make any kind of difference.

I wish there was a box we could check for "affordable"...
These sets are way out of my price range. But if i come across a monkey's paw that let's me wish for a convention set, 25th all the way! |

Well if anyone was at last years con and heard Brian talking about the future of the club... the o-ring molds are wearing out and since Hasbro has switched to modern/25th, they will no longer be making any o-ring figures. Meaning that the club will eventually go full 25th/ME style as well.

Honestly, I'm undecided.
Eventually it'll all be 25th construction though given that molds are broken/destroyed throughout the years. While I like the 25th construction I also keep looking at my club Shipwreck and Chuckles with a lot of fondness. These are two classic figures done in O-Ring style and neither even uses the original body! There is a downside to the O-Rings though. Given that the molds are few and far between, there's just some figures that can't be made (Apparently Shippy was one of these till the club converted his head mold to fit Cutter's body) and sometimes the parts selection is composed of parts I personally wish were never made (The AT sets O-Ring versions uses a torso I absolutely hate because the arms look like they come out of the torso too far down) So there is the possibility that if the set is O-Rings that the parts used to make the figures could turn me off. But I also would like to see some O-Rings because as stated previously, this is the last place to see NEW O-Ring figures |
