I think its the numbers...
the smaller the con, the more personable the people.. by my 3rd con I know most Joecon attendee regulars by face, By this con, everyone knows me by name...
Botcon is twice, if not three times the size of joecon... and dont get me started ont he monstrosities that is Wizardworld and SDCC.. WAY too many people.

i'm sorry, but i'm not buying the lost molds theory. i think they're bullshittin'. great way to jack up prices down the line, coral reef bound?, i think not. a fortune 500 company can't afford the storing costs of "$ printing plates", whateva, don't believe the bs.

I only went on Saturday (didn't start saving soon enuf for the entire weekend unfortunately), and some great points for me:
-Talking with one of the Hasbro designers. Cool guy, and definitely is interested in hearing what the fans think. For instance, he knows we all loved Resolute, and he did too, and is trying to get a Resolute set for next year.
-Seeing all of the amazing customs. AVACs was insane!
-Seeing the kids running around excited about Joe.
-Talking with some other collectors about stuff. Very cool to share our interests with each other, and with someone that 'understands' lol
-Getting some awesome swag, hehe
The one thing I'd have liked to do different was plan to meet up with some fellow 'Tankers. As I didn't know I was going until the morning of (very indecisive, lol), I wasn't able to PM anyone saying 'hey, let's meet up!' or anything. Ah well.
