Do you *really* want an answer on that?
I truly wouldn't mind if it was the final downfall. I don't like figures that are produced in super-limited numbers so that roughly half of the ones produced can be scalped at insane prices, while they originally sold for extremely high prices. They are things outside of the pricerange of the average person, and add more into the elitist clubs. I wouldn't mind if we saw them fall and just saw Hasbro release more figures/vehicles/sets to retail. All personal opinion.

That would be a great set... sort of a "Devil's Due" set (Obviously not Cool Breeze). If they threw in General Rey, that would be awesome.

I think they should go back to the o-ring for the con sets. It would seem to make a lot of con-goers happy to get them again, and relieve the tension of 25th/ME collectors who don't want to give up a kidney to afford the exclusive limited sets like this year.

ok first off i'd like the idea of the cobra-la set but remember the con exclusives are always re-paints or retools of existing figures with the exception of the night stalkers and the hooded Armored CC from that year. most of the time they use Hasbro exsisting molds and since the 25th ones are new this year . i dunno. I'd like to see them do a cobra de arco .as one tho .

I don't really think one precludes the other. I seriously doubt that any figure sets made by the Joe Club would ever, or have ever gotten in the way of what Hasbro wanted to release. It's just a way to have cool sets (or individual figures) that wouldn't ordinarily be made. Hasbro wouldn't pick up the slack and start selling them in large quantities, we just wouldn't get anything at all.
Hasbro makes sure they come first, then the club gets their sloppy seconds |

While I dig the viper idea, I want a dreadnok 25th style pack. Zandar, Zarana, Zartan, Roadpig, Zanzabar, Thrasher, Gnawghyde, Machette, 3 wanna be drednoks and Zartan's Daughter. To go with the set We coud have the thunder machine, Swampfire and airskiff. Yes all in their original colors (no neon), except zartan. I would have him in very dark colors as if he was hiding in the shadows.

I'd like to see a dress uniform set done in the 25TH/ME style. Pick your figures, 3 from each branch, with 3 greenshirt soldiers. Instead of a Vehicle to go with it, a briefing room dio, or maybe a 12"x12" plot of tombstone crosses from Arlington.

There could be a Resolute DVD box set with Resolute movie as well as Resolute figures of Zartan, Baroness, Destro, Gung-Ho, Storm Shadow. The Joe Con exclusives next year could be: Battle Force 2000 and Slaughter's Marauders with Sgt. Slaughter as the main box set Red Shadows as an International set For SDCC, it would be great to see a President Zartan kicked back in the Presidents chair behind the Presidential desk with the official seal on it.

If the Club wants to do 25th style figures, and so many fans are wanting classic characters we didn't get to see produced (Low-Light, Lifeline, etc.), why don't they produce those figures? That sounds like a popular set.
