OK so step out of collecting for a while and there is a Joe show in my back yard? Cool.I plan on getting a day pass and check it out I live like 15 minutes from downtown Chattvegas.
Grendalmatrix maps say its 1.5 to 2 hours but that is just getting to Atlanta. You are looking at a lot more time parked on the freeway once you get there, especially weekends. Turtle Master has a good idea if a game is your thing. Lots of cool things to do mixed in amongst our tourist traps . Riding the Ducks is a good one. |

lots of new places popping up on the regular. New spot The Signal has great bands like Stone Sour, STP, Clutch play. The coin op is a cool bar with good food and video games. A lot of the strip restaurants are where non locals eat/drink. Its still a bit odd navigating downtown even for lifers. Lots of hipster stores and such opening in what was the "bad" part of town and then crime going up in the "good" parts. That and you have both on the same street. Stick to broad street and areas with lotsa folks walking around and you will have a good time. If you are into comics we got a great selection of comic shops too.

As a non-attendee with a stake in a golden ticket, how much do you think I'd need to save if I'm interested in all 3 3/4" items (except for carded club figures)? If the Club is not going to offer vehicles, then does that mean we'll get lots of extra figures to make up the difference, or just the standard 2 and 3 packs?

Some vehicles came with an action figure, but replacing that vehicle will probably be one or more additional action figures. This might mean we are offered two separate 2pks this year, and maybe two separate 3pks also. Of course, the club could also replace vehicle offerings with other merchandise, such as shot glasses, nylon Velcro wallet, key chains, etc. I highly doubt that all vehicles will be replaced exclusively with 3 3/4” action figures. If it’s action figures you’re shopping for, you could probably expect an additional 2pk and 3pk more than at previous conventions (but that’s pure speculation on my part).

I wouldn't be surprised to see a 3 pack of female nightstalker soldiers or a two or three pack of WORMS for the WORMS officer. Doesn't have to be tied to the convention set, but could just be additional "club" exclusives.

I’ve been trying to figure out this one also… but looking at a list of the previous Con Attendee exclusives for the past half dozen years or more, they have averaged approximately four vehicles of various sizes.

I am (seriously) hoping we get black and white boxers like the 12inch club membership figure wears.
I would buy several pair.
