I for one hope Hasbro saturates the market with all the waves instead of what is being seen in the stores at the moment. Some people completly missed wave one (not me, thank God). And there are some people out there buying up all the singles and putting them on Ebay with jacked up prices thus pissing off the people who miss certain "waves". I for one have not seen any wave 2 hit our section of this lone star state. One or two people can wipe out the supplies of 25th the way things are being sold. Since the majority of us who collect the 25th anniv stuff are around the late 20's and mid to early 30's age range. We can afford to buy all of the supply that whatever store has on the pegs. Everywhere I've seen, there are only 4 pegs for these 25th joe line. Come on...thats bad marketing. That's not enough for one town...let alone most of us live in huge cities and there are a huge fan base for the 80's joe's. Come on Hasbro, keep up the supplies with the demands!

Thanks for the info on the CC guys. I was confused. Like I said I haven't collected Joe since I was younger. I never got sucked back in with the 15th An., VvV, Joe vs Cobra, or Sigma 6....I see this new line and go apesh*t for it!!!! So I am sucked back in offically.
I do hope they up the supplies of future waves. I saw w1 only 1 time and didn't have cash and it was long gone and that was it. I've had better luck with w2 but stores are only getting 1 case period so most of the time you only see Snakes, Stormy, or CC hanging around to taunt you that the Joes were there.... |

Hey guys I'm covering the show for CTR and Destro does have a cape. It's a soft goods cape, but the Hasbro team didn't bring it along with them. The presentation slide showed the cape, but I couldn't get a good photo b/c it was displayed on a projection screen and the lighting was akward.

Does soft goods mean cloth or is it a flexible plastic like all the harnesses on the 25th figures? |

Torch & Ripper look awesome!!! Yesssss! I really hope the line re-continues after the movie line (it should, since this would re-spark interest in anything Joe-related). I think Hasbro knows that this line is a goldmine for them and will likely produce them for a long while.

Torch and Ripper look great. Hopefully we'll get a Thunder Machine with Thrasher and a Monkeywrench and Road Pig next year. When will we find out what the Wallyworld exclusive is?

This is what I loved from the Q&A: Quote:
They'll be working closely with Paramount and making sure the characters are true to their original roots. They bring up an example of a discussion to change Optimus Prime's colors that took place during the production of Transformers. A picture of Superman was held up and colored yellow..."would you do that?" The look needs to stay true to the original appearance. So they are making sure this will happen.
Everything is just so great! It's a total 180 degree Joe-renaissance! I can't wait! -PJ |

From the Q&A. What's this mean?
Quote:
The original movie was storyboarded on yellow post-it notes on 8x10 sheets of paper in a hotel room. The screenplay was written in three days. The script wasn't done until halfway through the shooting was completed. Lots of battle sequences were shot, and the script was written around them.
