I was gonna say it looks to be cut as pasted. It looks good though, haha. Nice job.

Hang On a minute - either I'm crazy or I actually saw a ROC set photo of someone dressed up like a Iron Grenadier / Mars Trooper against a dark background.
I really thought they were present - in the 'deep background' - but not so in your face. Or did I get fooled by a dodgy photo. I don't suppose there's an official Website or a movie site blog or something that kept all the photo's like that in an archive. Oh and isn't there some sort of enemy Polar troops ? --- I guess what I'm wondering is there characters who got along some stage in the movie that were ment to be in the movie and either were but well hidden or they are not but they were developed along with hasbro during the movie production with the original intent to include them ? I can see the modern equivellent of many of what is in the ROC toyline actually being things that 'should' be in the movie - in terms of locations featured and such. It's a bit like how Springer should be in the Transformers : Revenge of the Fallen movie but he got cut out - and his absense shows up as a big hole around the witwickies kidnapping capers. Also what about the pilot of the Dropship ? - or whoever is actually supposed to fly Night Ravens... even things you don't see should logically exist - if you get my meaning they are just 'Off Camera' so to speak. And I don't mean old 1980's Cobra toys slapped into ROC packaging but things that make sense in the movie universe and seem like they belong by virtue of making sense in the organisation as shown at that point. So folks designed for a specific environment like Ice or paratroopers make sense to me. And if there was more than one 'Scarab' then someone had to drive it. |

The pit is badass closed up and mobile, it is a terrible disgrace and an insult to the intelligence of even a five year old when it is opened up, the elevator doesnt go all the way down OR all the way up, and theres just so many horrible design flaws with it it aint even funny it would have been much better if they had made it simpler, and I think handles are gaudy and in t his case the handle isnt even LOAD BEARING! It tells you do NOT use the handle to carry it a lot of parents returned it because their kid tried to USE THE HANDLE LIKE A HANDLE and broke their pits, the handle is just to open the thing up, it is terrible I plan on removing my handle and trying to make it a huge vehicle that is more realistic like another guy here said I agree with him I definitely do like the "Land ship" idea, but when it is opened up it is just STUPID.

God any extras of those wal-mart two packs? I came way late to the game, haven't seen those any where. Also what is with the snarler cycles and mantis? Are those variations? I have one of each mine has the cobra guy not wearing a helmet and rollbar is sitting in the cycle's car.

Yup, that's the tubo tank. Looks surprisingly well with joes, too. I wish I would've picked one up now.
On another note, I've been playing catch up with the rise of cobra line lately. Thank God for the break between ROC and POC or I'd be waaay to far behind. I only need about a handful of figures from the basic line and then I move on to vehicles, then I start army building! Can't wait. |
