Hi All,
New member here. I actually do not collect GI Joe (Blasphemy!), however stumbled into a collection. My main collecting interests are militaria (WWI through Vietnam War) and vintage Star Wars. In any case, I was contacted by a woman looking to offload her sons vintage Star Wars, however she told me I would have to take all of his GI Joe's as a package deal. There were 40 ARAH figures in total, and about 15 vehicles. I'm still in the process of ID'n everything, and marrying parts/pieces back up with the correct figure/vehicle. Having fun doing it, too! May have to keep a few pieces, however ultimate goal is to move these items on to fund more militaria and Star Wars. In the meantime, though, I thought I would share a fresh out of the woodwork collection. I know a couple pieces are not so common, but honestly, haven't a clue if there is anything exceedingly rare. Searches on eBay tell me there isn't, however I assume you guys would know better than I. Also, I have a few pieces/parts that I have yet to marry-up. Was hoping someone could assist? In any case, thanks in advance for looking, and any help provided! |

Picture 1: top right is a snow serpent backpack, bottom right is a techno viper backpack (minus one other tool), bottom middle left is a radio from the night landing raft, bottom left is a backpack for countdown. Picture 2: top right black blaster/pistol thing is for Tomax or Xamot, grenade launcher at the bottom is for Hardball, silver blowtorch thing is for Torch. Picture 3: black thing on the bottom left attaches to the black and gray frog man's scuba backpack Picture 4: green cannon goes to the Ram cycle, red seat with attached cannon goes to the Stun Picture 5: pfft, dunno about most of those missiles man... yellow missile on the right is from the Hurricane and the brown piece on the right comes from the Tomahawk helicopter (rear prop access panel) Picture 6: that's a vintage Star Wars cannon from the Death Star play set Post some more pics and I'll pick any other of the low-haning fruit for you.

You're the man, Zap! Would have taken me forever to search photos online to ID all that.
Can't believe I didn't realize that was the canon from the Death Star. That means there may be more Star Wars back at the woman's house. I have to take photos of the vehicles, and will hopefully have them up shortly. Thanks again!

Thanks, Truejoefan! Yeah, didn't think that one through, and probably should have #'d the items in the photos.
I should be able to decipher, though. Again, appreciate the help.
