Thats crazy, I would think that this kind of running change would go unnoticed then, its really a ridicolous change.

I didn't know about this variant until I read this thread. I immediately checked my 2 carded CCs and one has the dark hood! Wooooot!!

Hmm.. I too did not realize there was a difference. I will check the one I have carded against the loose one I have. If it is the dark hood, I'll let you know.

My cameras flash keeps getting in the way, but it appears the dark blue hood matches perfectly with the body. Its nice and deep blue. I picked this CC up way back when they first came out.
