I used to be a BBTS hater for their allowing more pre-orders than stock that they initially receive, but they give you so many options (like the above, and what hassidae mentioned, obviously) that they are beginning to win me over. |

I'm not enthused about a 4th Destro either. And I definitely don't need Nemesis Enforcer. Remember the old days? When we had several years in between some of the main characters? We'd get a new Destro every few years. A New CC every few. Now it's every week. Ah well. It'd be nice if that CC was the red faceplate version, just for variety, but I don't see how it could be.

Color me "not terribly excited". I am looking forward to Tripwire though. He was great in the comics ("Them's mines").
I'm actually surprised that they're tapping into anything related to friggin' Cobra La. Look at all the awesome characters they could have done instead. Oh well, not every wave can be awesome. At least we're getting new stuff.

I so hope we get a silver head IG Destro. That was always my favorite, and I have always made customs for it. If I find another Destro/Breaker and IG Destro I will make one.

For the ones bitching about Nemesis Enforcer, it's called VARIETY. Some collectors grew up with the comics, some the cartoons. Everytime a new wave comes out there's always going to be people who are not happy about it. Would it make you feel better if Hasbro had never started a 25th line at all? If you don't like a certain character, sell it on Ebay. Here's idea launch his ass into outerspace on the back of a model rocket. For the love of this line, and collecting in general just be happy that we can get new products every month. I will however voice my opinoin about another CC, him and SE, Duke, and Destro, oh and don't forget SS, Enough with these guys already. Give new characters from this point forward. No more repaints of the ones we already have 5 of. My rant is done, commence with the firing squad. Lights up cigarette...Yo..."Inhales"... Joe!!! "Exhales"

Here, read this, it's pretty funny. http://www.therossman.com/digest/gij...leh/index.html In short: It contradicts almost everything that came before. Favorite characters are pushed aside in favor of moving new product. G.I.Joe is a military organization, not sci-fi fantasy. I'm impressed with your knowledge and sources of G.I. Joe history. Unfortunately, it's too late for me! Understand, much like any other impressionable child that grew up with fallacies aka Cobra La, we become adults that struggle with conflicts of what is fact/real concerning that matter. In short, I must build a massive Cobra La army! ATTENTION: All that despise the Nemesis Enforcer figure accompanying Lt. Falcon. I AGREE with you, he's a abomination, he's going to destroy the toy line, his existence undermines G.I. Joe. Don't waste an M-80 or time on a custom fodder, simply turn him in to ME! Think about it, all you want is Lt. Falcon, why not shave a few dollars off your purchase? 'Mr. Focus'...write it down Last edited by Mr. Focus; 02-06-2008 at 01:19 AM.. |

IRON Grenadier . . . . .
YEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSS! That makes my day, I'm going to army build the $%&# out of this one. I'm sure the comic pack will just be an intro and Hasbro will follow up with a single card or multi-pack release (or both if we're lucky). Most of my COBRA troop wishes Hasbro has granted. A 25th CG, a 25th B.A.T., a 25th IRON Grenadier, a 25th HISS Driver. Now if they could just pump out a new Techno-Viper and that new kickass Viper in Python Patrol colors I could be well set through the upcoming movie stuff whatever that will look like. |
