why is your stuff so pricey? i get that you have a huge assortment, but many of those figs can be attained at a fraction of your asking price.
do tell. |

great question and I am glad to answer, thank you for the opportunity:
first: many ebayers are selling at cost or less - I have a legitimate business to look out for, if I do not make money, I have no business. second - it takes much time and money to take on an endeavor such as this, without getting too particular I have well over $100,000.00 invested in this business and this site is now 2 years in the making and I am no where near being finished with uploading inventory. third - you get what you pay for. I underrate everything so that when you receive it your reaction should be "nice - better than expected!" fourth - service is priceless. I am not perfect, but when I make a mistake, I own up to it and make up for it, period. hope this helps guys - this is no fly by night operation, I am here to stay for as long as the business is supported. I have some questions for all of you. What prices would make you buy? If you buy would it be in quantity or single items at a time? Help me streamline my business. If your suggestions make sense and are profitable - then I am all ears.

thanks for shedding light on the question at hand.
as a buyer/collector, my main focus is price range and overall desire. if a fig is decently priced and the need to attain it is high, i will buy in an instant. if s/h cost is reasonable, along with the price tag, and combined items do not make much of a difference in s/h cost, i will buy in bulk with no hesitation. the key is keeping the price tag on a loose ARAH fig (complete w acc) on par with modern MOC. i know vintage ARAH are more of a luxury item and should be priced accordingly with the market, but the "buyer's eye" needs to be enticed by price. the first glance is crucial. we have so many options these days... we are very quick to click elsewhere. that said, keep it under $10. $9.99 is the best fish bait for buyers, IMO. |

CTG- i've bought some stuff from you and was very happy with the quality & pricing.
The one thing you could do to get me back sooner is upload the other half of the parts alphabet. I know you will respond to emails about specific parts but as a customer I would rather just click on what i need rather than write an email. thanks for the answer about how you're growing your business though. it is helpful to know just how much you have invested in this and that you are trying to improve things as time goes on. i'll probably be placing an order next week because of the sale. |

I can sell a C9 figure anywhere for $5, and each weapon or accessory for $2.99. Most figures come with an average of 4 accessories, so at $15 there is a slight discount. Basically, if the loose figures do not sell I will part them out. Parts are the main focus of my business for vintage items. Also with my cost of new Joes, $11.99 is my bare minimum (with rare exception) and I am making pennies at that. What you have to remember, even on ebay, your cost has to include time/effort/price/tax/shipping of getting the item as well as time/cost/and fees of selling the item. Again, new items are not my focus, that it why you do not see much for new packaged items at this time. hope this helps. Since your suggestion on complete and carded figs can't be done at this point, what are your suggestions for parts if any?

Please be sure to use the search bar for specific items like "airborne" or Crazylegs" or "Snow Cat". the site is limited to 1000 items per search and I have more than that listed, so use that search bar! and thanks again! You have heard it before, but there are many many more coming, including GI Joe, TMNT, MOTU, Star Wars, MASK, Transformers, but there's only one of me and thousands of you, it's hard to keep up sometimes LOL but I'm not complaining! : - )

I looked but didn't see anything, do you have any flagg parts for sale? I have a thread below with the parts I need. Also, do you have a turret or seat belts for a night scrambler?

Prices aren't bad at all really, though some of the army builders are priced out of whack, can buy pit vipers almost all day long on here for 4 bucks a pop ( in bulk ).
I do understand what you say about 'costs' unless you buy directly from Hasbro their distributors like ramming you in the sewer. 1000 to 2000 bucks worth of stuff just to get into the 20 to 30% off retail range, and then you spend on average 10% of your profits on shipping.
