I have never had any luck cracking open the 25th figures. I just got a Sting Raider and destroyed the Copperhead trying to get the upper body off for use on my Slaughter custom. Anyone that is skilled with this, I need one perfectly mint Python Patrol Copperhead upper body. Arm and head not needed, just the chest and back pieces. I need it already separated into two parts. I am willing to pay $20 or trade three 25th figures for these two parts. Help!
BTW, I have read about the screwdriver method, vice grip method, and other methods in the 25th disassembly guide. I still end up trashing figures.

I feel ya. I scratched mp CP Copperhead trying to crack it open. I plan on doing the same thing.
May I ask why you need it cracked open though? The Copperhead upper arms are perfect for Sarge. No need to crack the torso. |

Just change the legs, doesn't the torso and waist molded in same color? So if shirt is black wouldn't the waist be black just paint over OD Green and apply camo legs.

Keeping this on the topic of buying or selling, I have some good pieces to offer such as Snake Eyes and Hardmaster, Scrap Iron and more. I will trade you any three loose figures that I have. Or pay $20.

I need to open it up so I can fit it onto a modified W1 Flint lower body. Flint's leg colors are perfect and the underlying plastic of the lower chest is black. After sanding it down, it looks like Sarge's lower tank top. I want my Sarge to look factory when I am done, with the only painted part being the hat.

I would consider painting the lower torso to match Flint's legs, but I am not a skilled painter. I am open to trading with someone with these skills if they are interested.
