i still enjoyed the issue more than any regular idw title but it was lacking smethig. i liked seeing the new rage and rock n roll but it semed disjointed and the boarder crossing came out of nowhere. now, it was by no means bad, i just liked last issue more. i'm still sure i will have enjoyed it more than gi joe 21.

It took Hama but a few issues to make me enjoy G.I. Joe comics again. To me, this is the only series that matters for Joe until Hama continues Special Missions as well (Please!)
He brought back Dr. Venom in a clever way, has all the cobra agents playing nice together for the time being again, Duke/Scarlett/SE are still in some sort of triangle. I even like how he incorporated the Steel Crusher (Rage) in the urban setting for us. The guy at the comic shop was telling me he has not read this stuff but reads Cobra from IDW. I told him all that stuff is crap and if I wanted to read spy stories I would go reread Special Missions which are 100x better than all the IDW and DDP drivel.
