Has anyone heard anything about this coming out? It's been almost two years if i'm correct. It was my favorite Joe comic. Hopefully it's still a go.

I've never heard of this at all. Is this to be a reissue of some sort or completely redone?

Andy Schmidt said there were currently no plans to reprint the annuals (yearbooks) in TPB form in a recent Q&A at the end of one of the more recent Joe comics.

That's kind of a shame, because if memory serves don't 3 and 4 actually fit into the main storyline?
And 2 while it's a self contained tale is sorta what I consider to be the template for the Special Missions concept. |

he did mention that there was a special surprise regarding mike golden and yearbook 2 but that's been a while... back when he said the red shadows would definitely be a part of the reboot...

MG was supposed to add new pages and recolor the story from yearbook #2. It was just the story. Nothin else.

i agree. i would like a solid answer on this. chris ryall sent me a pm saying i would be very happy with what idw has in store for mike golden. that was like six months ago. i wouldn't mind him doing an origin. heck, i wouldn't mind him doing anything this side of a movie-verse book.

Plague, I couldn't agree more. The yearbook 2 story was my favorite hands down. Would love to see him back in the joe fold.
