This is why I don't buy comic much anymore.
Aside from the cost, with pocket universes, pre-Event / post-Event, revamps, replacements and just general creative team turn arounds which has writers overwriting previous teams writing to make their new vision fit that produce the cast change up turn around mix up and or general tone change of any give title to reflect current market trends or tastes I just can't keep up. Not to mention the ever popular cleansing crossovers like Zero Hour, Crisis events, House of M which seem to try and clean up loose ends that eventually need a new event to clean that up. They really need to start publishing comic flow charts so people can figure out what the hell has happened. |

I'm not sure if I have them all but here's a few names just off the top of my head. I'm not going to count the short timers like Alfred dressing up as Batman to take some of the heat off of Bruce Wayne when they put one & one together & though that Wayne might be Batman. Those don't count...in my opinion. I'm talking about he ones that really took up the Mantle of the Bat.
Those that were Batman at one time or another: 1. Bruce Wayne 2. Jean-Paul Valley 3. Dick Grayson 4. Terry McGinnis 5. Batman One Million (not sure they ever gave this guy a name) I'm not sure about all the Robins though: 1. Dick Grayson 2. Jason Todd 3. Tim Drake 4. Stephanie Brown 5. Damian Wayne 6. Carrie Kelly (Alternate Future Robin) Is that all?

Not so secretly they had a relationship for a while... but supergirl eventually dumped him... But I think we should stick to Post Crisis... it's easier.

To be uber-nitpicky and technical, there were some stories were Alfred, Joker, Superman and various special guests in "Brave and the Bold" posed as Batman, temporarily. But those do not count as "being Batman" ...and they never should.
Basic Batman Chronology (in mainstream DCU): 1- Bruce Wayne (1939-1993) 2- Jean-Paul Valley (1993-1994) 3- Dick Grayson (1994) 4- Bruce Wayne (1994-2009) 5- Dick Grayson (2009- current) Robins: 1- Dick Grayson (1940- 1984) 2- Jason Todd (1984-1989) 3- Tim Drake (1990-2004) 4- Stephanie Brown (2004) 5- Tim Drake (2004-2009) 6- Damien Wayne (2009-current) That's not to count all the alternate timeline/elseworlds Batmen and Robins. Also, Dick Grayson was "Nightwing" from 1984 to 2009 (save for three months in 1994 when he filled in as Batman). Tim Drake is currently "Red Robin" (unfortunately, no relation to the burger chain). So right now they have Robin and Red Robin bob-bob-bobbing around.

Cain, that's the last name. Have her in the list, just had last name as Lane. Had the sound right, lol.
Thanks. Knew I had it wrong.

Batwoman was Kathy Kane, in the old days, and is Kate Kane in current continuity.
