I originally sold my ARAH toys to start my comic book collection. I have collected my whole life and came back to collecting GI JOE with the 25th line. I was just wondering since alot of you collect comics also how many you have. I'm not looking for a competition or dealer stock numbers. Just people who love their comics!
I have about 50,000! Completely arraigned by alphabet and can find any issue at any time! |

I used to have hundreds of comics, but I got rid of the majority of them. I gave them to my nephew when he started to get interested in super heroes. I've only got about 5 dozen left.

Last count I had 45 long boxes, about 40,000 or so.
It's been years since I've done any serious collecting. My collection is scattered at my moms and my dads.

I have about the same number as you do also arranged in alpha order and by number and volume number. (but dang Marvel and their dang numbering system with reboots, lol and now they have DC doing it too !)

I'm glad someone else can appreciate what kind of effort that takes to not only just own it but to be able to find it!

I dumped everything a few years ago except for a complete run of Amazing Spider-man and key issues. Yes, I sold off a complete run of GI Joe and Batman from Issue 201 through 630 something.
What do I still have? Aside from the ASM run, I have a Daredevil 1, FF 48, Avengers 4, duplicates of some of the key ASM Books like #14, and a couple of Hulk 181's. I also kept a few early Marvel Silver Age like some early Avengers and Fantastic Four. Everything else is now gone or on it's way out. More books are being scanned every day. **Just remembered I have a copy of Gold Key Magnus 1 and Solar Man of the Atom 1 which are still underrated as far as I am concerned. |
