just wondering how many crossover comics has there been ?
and how easy are they to get or is there super rare versions of some of them ? I want to start a joe comic collection as the only stuff i can get was the DDP line and that has dried up were I'm from apparently they didn't sell enough to warrant getting more in :( so the question is how many transformer/joe cross overs is there and how HTF are they ? |

There's only one vintage crossover, I think there were only 3 issues and they shouldn't be that hard or expensive to get
There were 3 Devil's Due crossover series (Also not hard to get and you can get them in a TPB each) I believe there was only 1 Dreamwave crossover It was set in WWII (I forget how many comics were in the series as I didn't really like it much, I imagine it shouldn't be too hard to get, but I could be wrong) So that should be 5 total crossovers BTW, I liked the DD ones the best |

There are 4 issues of Transformers/Gi Joe Marvel crossover, i have the 80s version. It wasnt that expensive to buy when i got them in the
90s. You can get a graphic novel of the 4 issues as well.

- The was the original Crossover miniseries in 1986, "GIJoe vs The Transformers", which ran 4 issues. - Then the Transformers guest starred in the Joe comic, Issues 138-14, as stated above. - Also, G.I.Joe guest starred in Transformers, Generation 2, ostensibly as a continuation to their previous appearance in the Joe comic, excepting that the events of Transformers G2 (especially Issue #2) contradict the events of GIJoe #144, where Dr. Biggles-Jones is still MIA, and the Joes return to Washington to explain her disappearance. Devil' Due did 4 separate miniseries, calling their crossovers G.I.Joe vs the Transformers. - Series 1 (6 issues) details Cobra controling and redesigning Transformers as Cobra vehicles. The Joe Team is formed to stop them by teaming up with Jazz and Bumblebee. - Series 2 (4 issues) has GIJoe and Cobra teaming up with the Autobots to stop time-traveling Decepticons from destroying the world. Suck has known no greater depths. - The Art of War (6 issues) is about Serpent-O.R., a government developed super-soldier made using Cybertronian tech. - Black Horizons (2 issues) features the Adventure Team, Cobra-La, Unicron, and Hawk carrying the Matrix in 2 double-sized issues (so 4 issues of content released in two parts) which makes no sense and is best never read. - Dreamwave also did a Crossover, entitled "Transformers vs G.I.Joe" (notice the franchise reversal), which took place in an alternate reality version of World War II, featuring Cobra as a fascist terrorist army who hold the Deceticons in their sway. The Autobots team up with GIJoe and stop them. - A second Dreamwave crossover, set in a more modern era with classic versions of the GIJoe and Transformers characters, was halted after 1 issue in the scandal that caused DW to fold.
