I've got a question for some of the more knowledgeable tankers.
In Lady Doomsday, during the scene where Cobra Commander is initially talking to the good doctor, there is a Cobra Agent standing off to the side (bald, different uniform than other troopers, goatie). Does anyone know who he is? |

Thanks.
The implication seems to be that he is some kind of interrogator. He disappears from that story after that scene though and next thing you know the fort is a crater. |

When I went back and index/reviewed the entire series, last year, I labeled that guy as "Devil's Due Fodder". As in, he's an obscure character that they would've dusted off and brought back.
I think early comic book Cobra was kinda' like HYDRA. That bald guy goateed guy looks like a typical HYDRA general...so something Herb Trimpe just whipped up. There's some weird stuff with Cobra in the first year. Like Baroness's beauty mark, the Cobra tanks in issue 1, their plot to "rule the cosmos" in issue 8 and other stuff that didn't stick around.

I looked it up. He is only seen in the 1 panel. I think it would be cool to say that dude is Dr. Mindbender while he was working his way up the food chain. Just an idea.

Of course, that was retconned by the comic that came with the CG/Scar-Face pack.

Or maybe this is what the Interrogator looks like without the mask. He supposedly had been around for a while. Of course his being a Tele-Viper may not add up.

Also, yeah, Cobra has a new tank type in almost every issue in that first 30 or so. I guess the kicker is that, to me, it looks like a character that would have had some promise. Who knows, if the Joes had been a minute or too behind schedule, he might have had some lines. ;P |
