Hi to all!
I am joe collector from Turkey. Gi joe comics were also released in Turkey in late 80s covering first 19 issues of the original Marvel run.It is called "Super Joe". There are seven issues in Turkish.I only have four of them. Here are the cover scans, enjoy! Last edited by supermarines; 05-29-2009 at 12:09 PM.. |

Awesome, thanks for sharing. Were they just straight reprints or did they also feature extra stories created by local Turkish writers and artists?

Nice. Did the other Joes have unique codenames that were slightly different from their counterparts in the English language?

Very cool.
What about the geography in the stories? Were they set in the US, or were they re-located to Turkey?

They are just reprints of original gi joe marvel comics only in turkish language and with some different codenames.
They are not located in Turkey or something like that. |
