I have a Spawn #1 comic published in 1992 I bought awhile ago. I wanted to know if anyone on this forum could give me a reliable approximate value. It is in great shape in a plastic sleeve with cardboard backing and I never actually read it. I bought it from a comic shop for $18 about 15 years ago. It is not graded. Thanks.

It all depends on the grade. From a comic price guide as of today. 9.8 $17.00, 9.6 $14.00, 9.4 $12.00. Spawn was a huge seller when it came out, but sadly it died off quickly because of the 90's comic crash due to the mass over printed issues. Today that book sells for roughly $5.00-$20.00 in comic shops, these values are for a ungraded copy btw.

I just sold my copy to a comic shop. They gave me 5 dollars for it.

LCS has one on their wall, not graded but in excellent to mint condition, they have it priced at $20

Over produced is no joke I have five long boxes of Spawn #1 and if you think that is bad I have about ten long boxes of EACH cover to X Men #1 .
