Seriously I havent bought a comic book since 1996 in the fall season. The storylines I was into back then were some of the Onslaught stuff for the X-Men, the Clone Saga stuff for Spider-Man, whatever went on in Sensational Spider-Man.
For DC Comics back then I was into Superman quite a bit but the whole Conduit storyline was a mess especially with the "death" of Clark Kent". 2002-2003 I tried to get back into comics but the only thing I ever bought was the Cassandra Batgirl series for a short while. |

These days im still buying old single back issues when I can for the older stuff I was into back then.
Recently I even bought the black and white Essentials for both Classic X Men and volume 4 Essential X Men and Wolverine Essentials Volumes 6 and 7. I have alot of catching up to do on stuff that i missed out even from the rest of 1996 to 1998. |

The newer stuff Im really not happy about such as what Ive heard about Jubilee being mistread by being turned into a vampire I hear?
There any new stuff that's at least good and decent to read? I still prefer the older stuff from the 1990s which is my main goal to catch up alot on |

Basically any issue of Bendis' Daredevil in the early 2000s was gold.
Alias, Lucifer, Garth Ennis Punisher, Preacher, Sandman, all good. GI Joe: Cobra is great. Silver Surfer: Requiem. Blacksad. Ultimates vol 1 & 2 (and stop there!). Ultimate Power was good. Thor: Godkiller and Thor: Godbomb. Nextwave. The Authority. All-Star Superman. Astonishing X-Men (Joss Whedon!). Anything painted by Alex Ross. That's all I can think of off the top of my head. |

A lot is new. Honestly, you quit comics when they were at such a terrible era. They've improved quite a bit.
