What is it? I haven't read the comics in about 11 year. I have every issue and I'd like to re-read them all but I don't have that much time for that. So I'd like to skip to some of the best issues/arcs. Let the opinions fly away!

The first 25 or 30. I think the early storyarcs that brought us all the classic joes and cobras were great. But my favorite would be issue 24 and 25 when the joes finally capture cobra commander.

I think mine is 109-110 and 113-114.... I guess I like the way they are real.... I just dont like the fact that Doc and SneakPeak die...
Also like 61-67.... 63 was my first issue...

I like the battle between Snake Eyes and Dr. Venom and Quinn. Too bad Quinn and Dr. Venom die. Sorry to blow the ending for you.

I liked the issues covering the Borovian incident, where Stalker, Snow Job and Quick Kick were imprisioned and Snake Eyes, Scarlett, Billy and the Hard Master rescued them. Issues 61-66.

The Cobra Civil War was officially from issue 73 to 77.
Issue 10 was one of my favorites, simply because it established Cobra and set them apart from Hydra or any other Marvel "evil army". Cobra really didn't have much of an identity until that issue. As a bonus, it was also the first real glimpse into Snake-Eyes' past. Special Missions #18 had a lot of interesting philosophy and some moral decisions by the Joes. I stumbled through the issue as a kid, but rather enjoyed it when I read it recently. Issue #68 with the battle in Frusenland was fun. The long-awaited "return to the snow" with a big ol' armor battle and almost non-stop action. Also interesting that BattleForce 2000 first came in as a separate entity. Issue 61 through 67 feature the "Borovia POW" storyline (along with Special Missions #6). There are a few "let's sell toys" issues along the way, but they're okay. I actually kinda' like the "Star Brigade/killer asteroid" plot from issues 145 through 148. It's just funny how it came out in early 1994 and is VERY similar to the big-screen movie "Armageddon" that came four years later. Russians and American working together in space to blow up a asteroid heading for earth. Hmmm... (although I suspect that both were based off of some old sci-fi yarn I never read)
