OK so I actually liked this issue. I have been hard on this series since I think they wasted the Renegadish premise back in the beginning. I loved seeing Sigma 6 revisited as CC put on what was basically the Windfire Armor from the Commando 8 inch line. Also I am not sold on the Blue Ninjas, but seeing a new character in the Blue Ninja leader was nice.
Major complaint - and it is minor - Mindbender's uniform has always been horrible. He looks like he should be in a Drag Queen wrestling federation. Could we not either update it something a bit more modern or adopt the VvV labcoat look? If Hamma keeps putting new ideas in here and mining the history of Joe (Sigma 6) to build his continuation of my favorite comic ever he just might convert me. BTW the story was pretty good too. Loved how the Baroness was depicted. |

It seems I was less impressed than you. I am looking forward to an end to this Blue Ninja story arc. Robot ninjas with blue energy whips is just way too sci fi for my vision of G.I.Joe. Is SE going to start using a light sabre next?

I liked the idea of a new ninja clan for SE and SS to fight at first, but when they turned out to be spider-robot lightsaber-whip wielding ninjas who killed Billy, I kind of lost interest. It's a shame, this is the first time since the resurrection of the ARAH comic that I haven't liked it. I'll keep reading and hope they tie up this storyline soon and move on to something else.
Also agree about Mindbender...put a shirt on, for chrissakes. His VvV/DDP look was much better. |

How long did Mindbender have the Battle Corps look in the old ARAH run? It wasn't long was it?
Would that be preferable to his more classic/nekked look? |

I love the book - It's taken me right back to why I loved these comics originally and has expunged the pretentious, poe-faced "realism" and the totally unlikeable characters of the main IDW continity from my mind.
