most of the devils due stuff is worth reading.

I have all the comics, but I haven't finished reading them yet. I on like 139 of the Marvel run. DD then American Elite is next. I did read the Transformers VS GI JOE graphic novel a little. It is amazing. I still have to finish it too. I have 2 daughters to attend to, so I'm really busy most of the time.

I think DD did trades of some of the story arcs but not all (I could be wrong on that though)
Since DD is a continuation from the old Marvel series, I'd start with the original. There is also different series like GI Joe Frontline and such. This is kinda like the old Marvel Special Missions series. Mostly one offs, or small arcs with a few comics but the whole series doesn't run continuously. Reborn was pretty cool, kinda like an alternative reality sorta bit. I highly recommend the declassified series (At least for GI Joe, I wasn't impressed with the Drednok's one and I never read the Snake-Eyes one) The Transformers Vs GI Joe series (There were 3 different series made by DD) is great. I didn't like the Dreamwave one though, but I may be in the minority for that. I just didn't like the Joes and Transformers set in WWII |

Snake Eyes Declassified was really good IMO, didn't care much for the Dreadnok one but maybe I need to reread it to figure it out.
The later DD stuff with America's Elite collected certain arcs in trades, like the last arc. Not sure offhand if they collected the full run in a series of trades yet or not. |

IDW has secured the rights to re-print all of the original Marvel series, much the way they have done with the Transformers series.
It hasn't been revealed if it will mostly be in trade paperback format, or if they will re-print single issues. Most of the Devil's Due stuff is still available at Diamond, and if Josh is set up in artist's alley at a comic convention, he most likely will have them. I wouldn't look for the individual issues, not only will it get pricey, but it's better to read a storyline in one sitting through trade paperbacks. You don't have to worry about damaging the original issues, because a trade rarely increases in value, and they look really good on a bookshelf.

I swear, it's cheaper to get the original 20 year old comics than it is to get the TPB's right now for GI Joe |
