if they charged you shipping and did not ship it, that may qualify for postal fraud. call them up and threaten them with that, regardless if whether it is true or not. scare someone well enough, they'll refund you to avoid legal trouble.

I just went to their site to take a look around, their prices are like smokin-crack ridiculous. No wonder they went out of business. I hope you get your money back though Sam. They seem to still be taking orders with no word about it on the site. Maybe its just a 'restructuring' bankruptcy as some have said/hoped. I would give them a call, let us know how it turns out. And thanks for warning us about this as well.

I actually know one of the guys who is a part of Toyrocket from back in the day when I worked with him at a retail store. They also are affiliated with 2 stores here in Sacramento...they have always been shady...ALWAYS. They would always get stuff that was exclusive to retail stores like Walmart and Target, TRU...they would get it by the case load. Then you would see guys working at all those stores who were always hanging out in the Toyrocket stores as well...not to mention 2 or more UPS drivers hanging out with them. o.0

Toy Rocket is literally 10 minutes from my house and I knew a guy who worked there. I've been that they raid all the stores around here for toys, but I do know that they order from distributors as well.

Hey Sam,
I'm not sure how you paid, but there may be some options for you to get your money back. If you used PayPal, you can file a claim with them, and you'll likely get your full refund, but it may take up to a month. If you used a credit card, I'm sure your bank will have options as well. If you used money orders, I'm not sure about any recourse other than filing fraud charges against them. I hope it all works out for you! |

Yeah, I got the notice today. They still charge your credit card for shipping at $7.95 when you first place your order. I had a preorder too but I was charged the 7.95. Chub357, you probably want to check your credit card statement. Luckily, BBTS had all I needed.
