Wal-Mart reset no Joes and clearance on stock

Just got back from my tour around the area and all Wal-Marts are resetting the toy isles with Thor and Pirates of the carribean. All joes are in the clearance isle at $3.50, I just bought all they had left two Skydive one Cobra shock trooper and one Beachhead.

Hurry to get them before there gone!!!

We haven't had POC in the Walmarts in SoCal since wave one. I can't speak for riverside or the inland empire but up and down San Diego, Orange and L.A. County I've been to 18 Walmarts and not a lick.

My Target stopped stocking Joes in Dec. 10., as did Wal-mart.

Me and guy were looking for Joe's Thursday(the day before they had the Skydive wave) and then that day all the single carded figs were gone, except a few vehicles were there. So he asked a worker who went to the Dept Manager and she told the worker they're not carrying Joe's anymore. 2 other WM's have pegs up but no fig's and 3 other WM's dropped the line right after X-Mas.

I had some in the KC area that didn't carry them last year, the two that I "normally" hit that still stocked them during my normal driving both have reset, and joes have disappeared. Gives me no reason to go to Walmarts anymore...LOL, unless I need toothpaste or shampoo...c'est la vie, just order from BBTS anymore, I drive like three times as much to find joes anywhere, let alone the few times when I do find joes they have the ones I want.

I really think Walmart thinks its customers are as dumb as its employees. We see that shit ALL THE TIME. How thicked headed do you have to be to not see past the red and white clearance tag. Half the time they even say on the sign " was 7.88 now 9.99" and tell you how much you are saving. Maybe its an inside Walmart joke.

Two of my wally's dropped them before Christmas and one had wave one and ROC and my last good one had received wave 4 POC a couple of weeks ago. Now they are gone from all my wallly's. I did enjoy snagging 2 Skydives @ $3.50 though:-)

I'm glad epic fail mart isnt carryign joes anymore. I hope they stop carrying toys altogether. Horrible selections....failures to restock anything worth a damn....rude employees and a smell that would make a garbage dump seem pleasant. I dont even go into that failure of a store anymore.

My local Walmart has a crappy stock of Joes and doesn't seem to be restocking any time soon. The one we usually shop at (as it's a nicer store) tends to have a few more in but I haven't checked enough to see if they've restocked or if they just have a lot of older ones.

Target on the other hand still get 'em in and the local TRU recently got the Wave 4 figures in.

Pretty much the jist of it. We have about 10 WMs within 50 miles of Albany here. All but 2 were carrying Joes (based on my last assorted visit to them within the last month or so). I have not noticed any resets done yet to update this WM Joe status though...

MU got axed from a few Walmarts here in Maryland. Guess they figure there's no use in having it with all the Marvel film action figures pegwarming.

Joes will now directly filter into the liquidator stores like ROSS, Marhsall's and TJ Maxx. All of the current and previous PoC Waves 1-4 will make there way here at $4.99 a figure. Can't Wait!!!!

I live in Delaware and all Delaware Walmarts have dropped GI Joe. I check out a couple near the MD/DE border and they still carry Joe in Maryland so I've found a few I've wanted here and there.

I have 6 Super WM's in my area and before X-Mas they all carried Joe's. Right after though, one store dropped them. Now 3 more stores dropped them.

I saw the reset plans that were on the cart as they were resetting the toy section at one store and no Joe's are listed and the Dept Mng came out and said they wont be carrying them anymore.

2 other stores still had the pegs up as of a few days ago, but one had 1 figure and the other had 3 fig's and neither have restocked in months.

I've seen shelves with no/depleted stock and beside them are taped-up sheets with various notes about what should go there (or at least that's what I assume is going on.) Is this in some way related?

That's strange. Was at this one nearest me this past week and I got all of the Lowlight wave and left a TON of figures behind. This is after them only having wave one and two for months and months. Seems like it's a store by store decision???

It looks like right now, about 1/4 to 1/3 of all Wal-Marts in the US carry Joes. It's definitely been dropped from many stores...but not all of them. Of the four in my area within relatively easy driving distance, 1 of them is still carrying Joe (they had wave 4 remnants there this weekend).

My closest Walmart still has Joes. I just picked up a wave 4 Destro there yesterday, and last week I was looking at there isle reset thing, and they had a place for Joes. The one thing I've noticed (though it's a small sample size) is that the Walmart's in the bigger cities are carrying Joes, and the ones in the smaller towns aren't.

Both Oakland ones have Joes, as do all the other Bay Area Walmarts I've been to in the last few weeks, but when I go up to Northern California none of the Walmarts have anything.

Wal-Mart has also been shrinking the amount of space for toys in most of its' stores by a significant amount these past couple of years, which is another reason that various stores are dropping lines. Basically, there's one Wal-Mart in my area that's still carrying Marvel Universe, G.I. Joe, and DC Universe Classics. Sadly it's the worst Wal-Mart of the bunch in terms of how busy the store is, but oh well.

The sad part is, Wal-Mart carrying Joe in only 1/4 of its' stores probably still makes it the largest retailer for Joes.

A lot of small town stores are dropping a good bit. The larger volume stores still seem to have the same amount or more. I think it was just laziness on the part of a couple of stores. They didn't move anything to work in Thor and Pirates stuff, while other stores redid the whole aisle.
