Help with a toy gun.

Goin back to the good ol' 80's and it would have to be sometime before 1986. I believe it's 84-85.

It was a Secret Wars gun. I'f I'm not mistaken it was Dr. Doom's gun. The gun itself was orange I think. The top of the gun had a short piece of the barrell in clear plastic and when you pulled the trigger...you'd get a little lightining bolt in that clear plastic.

I'm sure it made a sound, and it "whirred" a bit to get that gearing goin for the lightining.

The holster was silver and kind of squared off. I can't remember if there was a Secret Wars logo on the holster...or Dr. Doom...for whatever reason I have a feeling the gun had something to do with Doom.

Does anyone remember this? Or have one? Just looking for the 1st step and hopefully an image. I'm def interested in purchasing one of these.

It sounds like you were describing the Laser Pistol & Holster in the first pic. Looks like it was made by Arco (They did all the Go-Bot water guns) Also while looking around it appears that the same pistol and holster were used in a Robotech set that also came with a stock and silencer

Yep! That's it! Top right hand pic with Doom being pretty stand out on the card art, probably why I always assumed it was "Doom's gun"
