View Full Version : Action Games for Wii??

Yes, I know everyone is cooler than me and has a 360 or PS3, but does anyone know of good action or adventure games for the Wii? I haven't had a system since the Genesis so I am pretty new to all of this. I have a Mario game for it and just bought Zelda used. Looks like the cool games are all on 360 and PS3, but I am not getting one of those anytime soon.

Resident Evil 4, Epic Mickey, Donkey Kong Country Returns, Okama, Lost in Shadows, Goldeneye 007, Super Paper Mario, Kirby's Epic Yarn, Muramasa the Demon Blade.

The Lego games are really fun.

I was about to say this :)

The lego games are like adventure puzzle games and are very addictive. I started playing the Harry Potter one today at 3pm and I stopped around 9pm. I'm close to the midway point (But then I have to go back to finish all the different acivements so it's more like 1/4 way through)

Mario Galaxy and Mario Galaxy 2 are must buys for the wii! Don't forget you can also play gamecube games on the system but have to have a gamecube controller. so this opens the door for games like the Sonic Mega Collection, Mega Man Collection, Mega Man X Collection. All very worth it.

edit: I agree with all the other games mentioned as well! all fantastic.

Jay West, I would recommend a, Classics Compilation. The Data East Arcade Collection with Heavy Barrel, Bad Dudes Vs Dragon Ninja and a James Bond Clone, along with 12 other games. It also uses the classic controller.
On another topic, and not an action adventure game is what I feel is the best Wii game. Tatsunoko vs Capcom to me is that game. There is a super deformed Gundam Game called G Gundam World coming for Wii. No release date yet though.

I know the Metroid Prime Trilogy contains the first 2 Gamecube games and the 3rd one which was released on the Wii. They are first person shooters pretty much. The newest game, Metroid: Other M, I have not played and has sorta mixed reviews from what I've read. You may want to check out some video game review sites like gamespot or ign. They often show bestsellers or top games for each systems etc.
