Quick custom, got a BBI Elite Force Super Humvee, which is the desert colors. Painted it olive green, stuck some Joe decals and the sides and weathered using blacks and tans airbrushed on, and some silver drybrushed. I didn't do as much as the Skyhawk, as I wanted it to be newer.

The kicked up dirt on the wheel wells does look good. Airbrushes are perfect for that sort of thing. I've done similar weathering on N scale (1/160) train cars. At that size, you have to cut the paint with clear coat, or you get a dirt colored box.

I really like the way you've got it heavier in the places you'd expect to see get hit with the most dirt, and still have a light dusting in other places.

the bbi humvee makes the best joe real scale jeep type vehicle in terms of functional space and you've done a spectacular job with yours!
if i could just get some foot pegs in the rear to keep some seated troopers it would be perfect.
