Cool. Too bad it's gonna cost like $200.00.

I wish they would do a 1/6 snake-eyes with his commando mask/gear.
... and I wish they would do Low-Light.

Looks more like a Snake Eyes Maquette...Premium Formats usually have fabric for their outfit, this one looks sculpted so a Maquette...
But I do love it, and I will pre-order that bad boy, but I do hope SS will eventually do PF's...

Damn not a full articulated action figure like the rest. Oh well no room for non possable statue sin ma house! looks though good base for the enxt 12incher

The Premium Format stuff is beautiful, but not for me. Plus, I'm not a huge Snake Eyes, and Timber fan.

Your in luck... Commando Snake eyes should be out in the new year! They've already confermed they'll do one.
As for Low-Light, I wait patiently for him also... but at $120 a pop not getting manny more of these.

That's awesome news. Thanks, guys.
I guess it would be tough for sideshow to pick characters to do.
First, they have to be a popular enough of a charcter to interest fans enough to shell out $125 per figure. Second, they have to be a character that's going to provide enough detail to be interesting as a 12" figure...
Third, they have to choose characters who are different enough from each other to provide some variety, so fans don't think they're just getting the same things over and over again.
Gung-Ho for example, would be very popular, but would the original Gung-Ho provide enough detail to be cool as a 12" figure?
Then guys like Low-Light who would be awesomely detailed... one has to wonder if enough fans would be interested in Low-Light?
Recondo would be awesome... would fans buy that? Spirit, especially if they updated him along the lines of the new TRU figure, would be amazing... but would enough fans be interested?
I'm sure it's tough for them to pick winners.

There are so many great characters in Joe, I'm a little pissed we're getting Snake Eyes again. I passed on the ninja, and while I liked commando Snake Eyes as a kid, I think I'll pass on him, aswell. Oh well, just gives me more time to try and catch up.

Yeah, I'm not sure about this. So far I've bought EVERY GI Joe item Sideshow has put out - including the dioramas (well, I only have one - the other two are still on preorder).
But yet ANOTHER format? In addition to the inevitable premium formate figures? We'll see I guess. It looks cool, certainly. Still, am I more of a GI Joe collector or a toy collector? Not sure. We'll see come preorder time, I suppose.
