So far I have seen the 25th anniversary Boxed set of both Cobras and Joes. Also the 5 carded 25th Anniversary figures. These were in Walmart.
Also saw some 12" Adventure Team walmart Exclusives.

Greetings! New guy on the block here. I've been comtemplating signing up for a few weeks now and this is what sealed the deal for me. Might I ask as to where you've seen the 25th sets - KC area, St. Louis area, Springfield area? I've been looking in the STL and SFD area since the first of July and have found nothing! You may be a glimmer of hope for me!!

STL would be St. Louis and SFD would be Springfield. I'm located in between them in the Rolla area. I've seen none of the new stuff in the first two areas. The most I've seen at the Rolla Wal-Mart is some of the new 8" stuff and they had the new Adventure Team adventure packs with Storm Shadow and Recondo out yesterday. Hopefully the 25th stuff will follow close behind.

Just got back from Target and K-mart in the Branson area. Nuthin worth mentioning really. Comic packs Wave 1 only at target, nothing but a few legion and one Joe 5 pack at K-mart, full priced. Depressing around here I tell ya

Found Wave 5 in Warrenton and Wentzville at Wal-Mart on the way to St. Charles. In St. Charles I found remnants of Wave 4 at Target.

I am so glad to find other collectors in Missouri. I live in Columbia and it's been pretty dry. We've got the two-packs at all the stores. Target has over 5 cases of Wave 3, which eliminates the chances of seeing anything else for awhile. Last I looked Wal-Mart was still waiting for single cards to arrive (they didn't carry before the revision).

Its horrible in the Branson area. There arent even peg warmers hardly. The only thing that seems to always be around is the wave one comic packs, and thats at one store, everything else everywhere else is non-existant.

And yes, it is very cool to run across other collectors in Missouri. I geek out a lot, and usually most of my friends just kinda kinda ignore it, like its terrets or something.

Not to bad a haul today, Osage Beach Wal-Mart ( who just got in wave 5 on Sunday) got a wierd case today with 2 Cobra Troopers(silver) 1 Cobra Officer, 1 Buzzer, 1 Serpentor, 1 Stalker. I snagged the Officer. Versaills Wal-Mart had the remains of wave 4 1 Cobra Commander and 1 Scarlett. And Eldon had a full set of wave 5, I snagged both Crimson Gaurds.

The target and walmarts in springfield have Red Ninjas, Zartans, Cobra Officers, Cobra Troopers, Stalkers, Serpentors, Dukes, Cobra Commanders both hooded and helmet versions, Destro, as well as some wave 5 and 4 remnants...

TRU still has nothing...I asked the guy to look up any figures coming in and the dates on the exclusive packs and he had no idea...They did have a ton of wave 1 comics and the guy seemed really excited about it for some reason...

Columbia Update. Target still has mostly Wave 3, but I noticed a Scarlett and Duke yesterday. So, apparently we got Wave 4 and I never realized it. The Wal-marts still have Wave 2 of the Two-Packs and they got Wave 01 2008, but they were gone at the Wal-mart I went to. I'm sure they're gone at each of the Wal-marts in town. TRU got Wave 1 Two-Packs, but that's it.

On Joesightings.com, someone reported finding Wave 3 Two-Packs at a Wal-Mart in Wood River, Ill, which is just across the river from St. Louis. Really makes me want to go see my folks in St. Charles.

Rolla WM has three FULL pegs of comic packs. All three waves so far, minus the Twins. I'm guessing that whoever put the figures out conveniently forgot about the Twins. But I scored Ace and WW! I have yet to find any wave 4 or 5.

No luck at all Kmarts, TRU, and Target. I did find out something interesting after work when I checked N. Kansas. Apparently they got wave 3 comic packs and wave 5 singles the other night but some young looking guy bought them all. When the person asked why he was buying all of them he said "I collect, trade, and sell them". To whomever did this I hope they get a teratomoa (that's a tumor can grow hair, teeth, bones, and simple organs).

Well I found only one W3 comic pack (SE and SS) and I picked it up. Both of them are pretty solid and the fake PSA on the back of the comic is really funny. Oh, Viper I saw that empty Cobra Legions box at K-Mart and it was discounted two dollars!

Yeah tell me about it! I left work tonight headed down Campbell (on my way home to Nixa) and it was non-friggin-stop, heavy-ass rain. We're already flooding to chit here in the ozarks, and now this. And it's supposed to keep raining all night tonight and all through most of Thursday.

On topic though....Dr. Phd, I haven't seen crap around here lately, man. I never go to Target, but that sounds like the only place that really carries Joes regularly these days. I've been to Wal-Mart on Campbell, Nixa, W. Sunshine, N. Kansas, and Independence and none of them have had Joes when I've checked (except for the comic book packs, which I've seen at Campbell, Nixa, W. Sunshine, and Independence) and I've been to K-Mart on S. Campbell and N. Glenstone and I've only seen a few 25th figs (and the legions sets before Christmas).

Good score though with those vehicles. I really need to head over to Target one of these days. What time do they close, guys? I work 'till 10pm weekdays. I work on National and Primrose, so it would be a very easy drive to Target after work if they're open after 10. They probably close at 9 or 10 though. :(

Yeah, the target here closes at 9 or 10. From what DR. PHD told me, target had 3 of each left but no more hiss tanks. I haven't seen any singles around here lately either. I did learn that wal mart on south campbell has a crap ton of comics so if you are wanting them, that would be the place to go. As far as singles, they should be releasing wave 7 soon and there is a revision case going around that should be here already. TRU gets trucks in on wednesdays so if you are looking for their exclusives, try that day...

I go to Wal-Mart on S. Campbell literally almost every night after work! My wife always calls me and asks me to pick something up that she forgot. Plus I bank at the Bank Midwest that's inside the store, so all of my deposits and such are done there (I reeeally need to apply for direct deposit, I know)

Anyway, like I said I go there almost every night and the only thing I ever see there lately is comic book packs. And they have a chit-ton of comic book packs for sure. I almost picked up the Tomax and Xamot 2 pack they had, but I decided to pass on it because I'm not really collecting 25th figs anymore (trying to rebuild my childhood 80's collection instead).

I go to Wal-Mart on S. Campbell literally almost every night after work! My wife always calls me and asks me to pick something up that she forgot. Plus I bank at the Bank Midwest that's inside the store, so all of my deposits and such are done there (I reeeally need to apply for direct deposit, I know)

Anyway, like I said I go there almost every night and the only thing I ever see there lately is comic book packs. And they have a chit-ton of comic book packs for sure. I almost picked up the Tomax and Xamot 2 pack they had, but I decided to pass on it because I'm not really collecting 25th figs anymore (trying to rebuild my childhood 80's collection instead).

Awww, well then you are probably buying at Vintage Stock. They have all sorts of old figures and vehicles for sale. I think they also trade as well. I might have a few older figures to sell if you are interested...

Welcome, Amy. From my observation there seems to be at least one of near every metropolitan area in the state. Kansas City, St. Louis, Springfield and even Columbia (me).

Lately I haven't seen very much. I know the Toys'r'us in St. Peters has been getting the five-packs and the three-packs. The last time I was there I only saw the Cobra Officer three-pack and the Snake Eyes vs. Red Ninjas five-pack. Also, at the Target in my city, the exclusive vehicles will be set soon. The same should be true for most every Target.

Thanks for the welcome khambat7. Things are good. I'm around 3 TRUs that are easy for me to hit as well as 4 Targets and few Wal-Marts.

The TRUs are rotating the 3-packs. It looks like they are breaking up shipment and only sending two out three to each store. I had to go to two different ones to get all three and that seems to be consistant with the other ones I've been too. The five packs are all of them though, but I have yet to see the Greenshirts.

The Target next to my work put the HISS, AWE, and Night Specter out last week and I got mine then. I plan to check the ones by my home tonight. They should be on the shelves now.

Wal-mart...eh...slim pickings whenever I'm in. CC continues to hang on the pegs most of the time I'm there.

If anyone wants me to grab them, let me know, and I'll ship them out.

Nope, haven't seen Flash anywhere. It really depends on where you're gonna be in St. Louis. The two along I-70 are good, and Chesterfield is pretty decent as well. It's possible to hit all the TRUs in the area, but it's at least a 3 hour haul to do so, and LOT of driving. Bonus is that each TRU has a Target by it or on the way. Two are close to Wal-marts too.

There are 3 TRUs that are really close to me (or at least on the way) along with several Targets. I'm getting ready to make some more raids this week yet. If you let me know what you're looking for, I could probably snag them for you ahead of time and meet up with you when you're in town. Might save time for you. Just a thought.

Major, major find tonight!

Wal-Mart in Nixa is where it's at right now. :)

So I was headed down the action alley towards the Joe aisle, and on the way there I saw an endcap FILLED with Joes!

Then, in my giddiness, I waltzed over to the Joe aisle and every peg was FULL.

I picked up Duke, Destro v1, Destro IG, Cobra Officer, and Cobra Commander 1987 battle armor.

I also saw, but had to leave behind (due to financial constraints or some I already picked up)....
Rock n Roll,
Scarlett,
Torpedo (tons of them)
Air Trooper,
Snow-Job (a few of them)
Gung-Ho,
Cobra Commander masked,
Roadblock,
Serpentor, and I think a few others I can't remember right now.

They have a chit-ton of Cobra officers and Air Troopers over there. I picked up only 1 of 2 CC battle armors, and also only 1 of 2 Destro v1. They had a lot of IG Destros left though.

Oh, and they also have the pegs overstuffed with comic book packs.

I'm glad I went to Wal-Mart tonight. I just went to pick up a staple gun and then I saw all those Joes. I was absolutely stunned to say the least. That was the most G.I. Joes I have ever seen on a Wal-Mart shelf since I was a kid. I'm completely broke now. Well not completely broke, I just have enough to cover gas and smokes and little things for the next 2 weeks...but I could NOT pass up what I saw tonight. It felt like a once in a lifetime scenario after months and months of empty pegs.

Hopefully this is a trend with all Wal-Marts fully stocking the shelves finally!

I live near the mall, too, so I've got the same resources. You know there's three Wal-marts here, now, right? Broadway, Conley and Grindstone. In my opinion, Grindstone usually has the best selection. I've hit Moberly and Sedalia before; got the Dreadnok and Destro two-packs at Moberly weeks before they popped up in Columbia. Just last night I was able to get a second BACC in Sedalia while it's been the first one sold at the Wal-marts in Columbia. As usual, our TRU sucks. They've had the occasional surprise, like they were first to get the Tomax/Xamot two-packs. But otherwise they are months behind Target and Wal-mart and especially the TRU in St. Charles.

Whenever I'm really looking for something and I don't want to wait, I go to my parents' in St. Charles. I can almost always find it somewhere there. And, yeah, I'm all for helping each other out. With the variety of things coming available, it can't hurt to have an extra pair of eyes..

Target here in Columbia finally put out there Vehicles, at the checklanes on Thursday. By Friday afternoon there were four of 12 left and no HISS tanks. Glad I already got my two! :)

Blueman, toyhunter is right about the Target east of TRU. And my apologies. There is one TRU on I-70 by Mid-Rivers. The other one I was thinking of is on 270 in North St. Louis. Which would most likely be out of your way. However, there ARE 2 TRUs and 2 Targets on Lindburgh. The first being in Sunset Hills/Kirkwood next to Highway 44 and the second being a few miles south at I-55. I've never had much luck on weekend raids to those stores though. I find it best to hit them during the week. Since I work close to them, that's what I do.

Just let me know if you want me to snag some for ya. I'm always willing to help out a JoeBro. =)

In St. Louis: The TRU in Sunset Hills restocked, there's one CG 3-Pack, 3 Joe 3-Packs, and 5 Cobra 3-Packs. The one in South County also restocked also. I called and they told me they had 12 on the shelves but didn't give me the break down on what was there.

Went out to buy the new Time and Eric: Awesome Show Great Job! DVD and looked for toys around Springfield. Didn't turn up anything worth mentioning at Independence Wal-Mart, Target, or TRU. I did see an all red auto shop building with the name "Fred" on it. Couple that with the fact the city's flag used to have a cobra coiling it's self around a shield makes me suspicious about this town.

Maybe we're a front for a secret Cobra base or something ;)

Checked all over town today and the best I found was some wave 6 and 4. TRU did have the new Premium Series Transformers and I picked up Jazz, Barricade, and Ironhide so the trip wasn't a total bust. We'll get wave 7 soon we just have to wait and that's the hard part.

Got lucky tonight and scored the only case of wave 7 at the Campbell Wal-Mart. I asked the toy person this afternoon and was told there was a case of them coming in tonight. Came back around ten or so and loitered around until they were stocked.

I was out in Union, Missouri yesterday, and found Wave 7. Taking one of each except for an extra Snake-Eyes and Viper cleared the pegs of that Wave (I left several from Waves 4, 5 and 6). I only stopped at that one Walmart, but for everyone in that area, check your stores, they should be there.

Sorry guys that's it's been awhile but... Eldon and Candenton W-M both got in a case of wave 7, Target in Osage Beach has gotten 2 cases of 7 in a week and a half. Each time the Hiss driver and Vipers were the first to go and the rest were gone in a couple days.

I know the Wal-marts in town have gotten Wave 7. I haven't seen them recently, though. Target hasn't gotten anything for awhile. They'll get the newer waves at a decent time, but they don't seem to get very much. And, as for TRU 99% of the time they suck, but they really surprise me with that last 1%.

And, just because it's interesting, the first place I found the Wave 2 two-packs was at the Wal-Mart out in Moberly. And that's my joe hunting experience in Columbia. Whenever I can't find something I just go see my parents in St. Charles and I usually find it there.

So my new job starts at 10 which allows me to stalk stores right as they open. One of the Wal-Marts here (The new one by FuddRuckers) put up a case of Wave seven and a whole bunch of Wave 8. Since I made the Dean's List for spring semester I bought more than what I planed on, but I've never gotten straight As in college before.

Grabbed Snake Eyes, Bludd, Roadblock, and Flint along with 4 Vipers. I'm out of money but it was totally worth it!
