I noticed a few people, some of which I know used to post a lot, with the word "Banned" under their names. Are they really banned from this website? What got them banned in the first place?

depending on how bad it was they could be banned permantley


sometimes people just need to be reminded to not "act a fool" :)

Well the fastest way to get banned is not arguing with a MOD as most people would assume. It is being disrespectful to a MOD, the site and or each other. You have to remember that this is not a publicly owned site. It is a privately owned by Destro. And correct me if I am wrong, Destro alone. So the fact that he lets us all play in his sandbox is generous enough.

Destro is pretty cool and he will warn you if you get out of line. He seems genuinely like a nice person. Shin is pretty fair and will definitely debate fairly. But they will get stern if they have too. Again you still need to be careful because their job is to monitor the site and make sure that we are not being disrespectful to one another as well as I said before, the integrity of the site. I don't blame them one bit. This is a very classy board, its put together with love and care. Destro's devotion is very apparent. Now there are Mods who will preach one thing and do another but that goes without saying. (Not necessarily on these boards) That is how life is always. whether you work in fast food or a high powered law firm there is always going to be that guy who abuses the power and or makes the rules up as he goes. It happens. You just need to learn to avoid confrontations with those individuals. (This is advice for any board you frequent)

Case in point, I have had my fair of run-ins with the MOD's but it is always amicably fixed behind closed doors........the dreaded........PM.........lol. Those of you who crossed the line know what I am talking about. So to to answer your question if someone was banned they really had to cross that line and probably deserved to be banned. It as it has been my experience on Hisstank that they will at the very least warn you and tell you what you did wrong.

You can also edit your subtitle, to Banned. Though, I imagine the mods might not appreciate that.
