Army from 1991-2002, 31U (originally 31V) which is basically just a radio mechanic.

I spent 2 years in Germany from 1991-1993, then 7 months in the former Yugoslavia (3 months in Bosnia, 4 months in Croatia) and 1 year in Korea, along with several CONUS posts (mostly in Ft. Hood, TX).

With my MOS I could be assigned to any unit in the Army, so I got to spend time in several different kinds of units: Military Intelligence, Air Defense Artillery, Field Artillery, Combat Engineers, Transportation and, of course, the Signal Corps.

U.S. Army, Military Intelligence Officer (35D) 1994 - 2003

Spent some time in the National Guard when I returned home to Minnesota, and had some fun training (Tanks Commanders Course, gunnery, Armor Officer Advanced Course) trying to branch transfer to Armor, but in the end MI scooped me back up.

I'm now back to being Joe Civilian after becoming medically non-deployable, and just months before being promoted to Major.

I definitely miss it. Haven't been part of a REAL team since.

I'm just trying to understand... I thought all the Army Intelligence MOS's were 96 series. Wouldn't an Intelligence Officer be an 96A? Again, I'm not questioning your service, I'm just trying to understand. Thanks.

US Army 1991-1995 31C Single Channel Radio
US Air Force 2003-Now 1A271 C-130 Loadmaster

I have been in so many countries with the C-130 it isnt even funny. AOR's=HOA,OEF, OIF

It is the best of both worlds, I can make both Air Force and Army jokes!

But seriously, Hasbro needs to make a C-130 just so I can have a minime setup
