Cobra Commander Diorama - Sideshow

Hey Guys,

What do you think of the new Sideshow Cobra Commander Diorama? I have to say, I like it a lot. Right up there with the Palisades statue, if not slightly better given the throne and Crimson Guards. Like the fact the EX version comes with 3 different heads as well.

Well, I think it's pretty cool, and pre-ordered the ex myself. I was a bit on the fence when they first announced the dio-statues, but when I got SE vs Red Ninjas I was impressed.

So I'll have the first three of these (all exclusive versions) at least. We'll see after that. Who knows how long they'll continue on doing this, though. They don't seem to appeal to many GI Joe collectors, but I think they'll be pretty cool additions to my collection. I've been meaning to track down a few of the Palisades statues as well.

I kinda really really want this... price tag though... yikes. Let's see what's left of my bonus checks next spring.

I'm not into the statues, but I like the fact that they use the throne set up. Once they put out the CG's you could do a recreation of this with actual figures. Is this a preview of what to expect of the CG design?

I think the new Sideshow Cobra Commander Diorama is simply amazing! Its very detailed and loaded with lots of extras!
