I went in today to return this rubbish MP3 player I'd gotten on Black Friday for my girl (word of advice, never, ever buy an MP3 player on sale at TRU, I'm 0 for 2 in that dept) and the figures, mechs, and vehicles (except for one Sting Raider) are still cleared out. But what do I see?
After a solid year of seeing maybe one or two PIT Mobile HQs (not at-a-time, but in the entire year!) at that TRU, I now see about eight at that TRU for full retail price ($99).
Where the hell were these things hiding all that time? That's more PITs than I've seen at all the retail places combined since last Christmas!

I saw a stack of 5 at my TRU. They were at the end of an isle, where they'll block people for the next several months.

My wife bought me a pit for 50% off on black Friday! They had 3 last week and she grabbed the last one! It was an awesome surprise to see it when I got home from work.

You're behind the times, Zef. They shipped those in for Black Friday. I have a couple of stores here now with 50+ clogging up aisles and overstock racks. Expect a few more 50% sales on them before Christmas.

Tru started putting them out back in Oct. I waited till that black fri when they were on sale for $49.99. I think that was the best deal Tru had for a large vehicle. The last few years TRU would sale that years previous large SW playset/vehicle. I guess they decided to try out the Joe market. The only large SW vehicle they had was the Clone wars y-wing.

TRU pulled out a lot of old merchandise for the holiday spending season. Including about 50 Ironman figures. Ironman one that is. Those haven't been on shelves around here since the second movie toys started hitting.

Call me if the BMF shows, I will knock people out to get one at a decent price.

That sucks that I didn't see them on Fri. I wouldn't have minded an extra for spare parts when I start customizing my own.
I'm sure if any are left after the holidays they'll get clearanced though.

You should have a talk with that woman.
No man regardless of how badly he has behaved or what he has done deserves that.
You have my sympathy

Man, I really wanted to buy a few when they were $20... but kept telling myself not right now... And I'm still glad I didn't but to see them again at full price is comical.

I got one at a local Walmart when it was going through its remodel for the whole store. $29.99 is what I paid. I would have never got it if it wasn't that cheap.

My TRU got bazillions of PITs too. They are all on top of the Aisles stacked like four high all the away across half of the aisle. They are almost like the arrows in 300... they block out the sun. LOL.
I remember last year when my TRU had that many AT-TE walkers, but at $50 those cleared out pretty fast. Nobody buying discount Pits...

The Pit was $19.98 on their website not too long ago and sold out quickly. Then they were back at $99. Craziness. Clearance those things.

I would pay this for one. But no more. I figure it would at least be worth $20 in parts.
