Well it's a road show so they are going to traveling to all different climates and environments. They'll need gear to reflect that.

Of course as the series moves on the action will escalate. I'm thinking bigger weapons, better armor. Nothing breeds tech advances like war.

Still hoping for Miami Dolphin Zubaz though.

It's not impossible. Avatar: The Last Airbender had a few costume changes for each character as the story progressed as the situation demanded (dressed up as Fire Nation citizens for half a season), and I don't see the producers of Joe putting any less effort.

At the very least we should see changes for different climates (it might help sell toys) or disguises, but it likely won't be too severe, as they also want the characters to have a certain look that will stick in peoples' minds.

Baroness can't be the only one with two costumes... and Lady Jaye is bound to put on a jacket once in a while... like when it is cold out. LOL.

i think each character will get more advanced armour.

One possible danger of too many outfits—too many toy versions of the same core characters. Yikes. But since the Renegades toyline isn't slated for, what, Fall 2011, I guess they'll have plenty of time to sort of build up the characters' looks for some really great debut figures.

But so far, I think most of the characters have been given good foundational designs. Good bases to build up on.

Also, I've noticed that Duke's armor vest kind of has a Roman centurion style to it. You know, those breastplates they would wear, with the torso muscles shaped into it and all. I think that's pretty cool, especially being the ancient history buff that I am. Kinda hints at his "glorious leader" role, I suppose.

Just from a marketing standpoint, they'll change. It'll give hasbro more opportunity to sell more figures.
