I collected them as a kid, but like most people, they were lost to yardsales a long time ago. When I started noticing the 25th figs at discount stores I had to pick them up.

Yeah, it's hard as hell to quit. I've been working on it since 2007.



You guys actually keep track of when you started collecting??? For me it's been a constant thing since 1975 or 1976. Started with Hot Wheels & Matchbox, then Star Wars showed up, and I got into Micronauts, then it just kept going & going. Slowed down between '88-'95, then Star Wars showed up again.

Glad they are loose. That's how they should be. That's a great start and I'm stoked to see some PTE stuff in there. Did you paint that type 98 tank? It came out well if so. Next part of the disease is dioramas or customs. Stay away from both or you will be consumed. Family's will be lost and friends will leave you.

Haha I already have. I've been working on my Troopers, CG and BAT armies. I had to start picking up more Joes to prevent my entire collection becoming Cobra army guys. I'll be set once I find some more green shirts.

As far as the tank goes, I found it at the flea market for 5 bucks so I don't know where it came from originally. But I did not paint it. As for Dioramas, they were my main reason for starting my collection. Once I get the figs and vehicles I need, i'm starting my battle scene.

Wish i had more access to it though because there are non to nothing Joes available in germany. But i got my source who's wading through TJ Maxx and picking me up the goods!
I got just the problem that i like the 25th line like the vintage line and wanna have them both :P

Oh and AVAC is correct. This is plastic crack. Once you start, its hard to stop.
