thats a van gogh. i knew a girl who had it on her wall. when she wasnt home wed sit and drink and laugh about how much it sucked.
yeah i know, its a masterpiece in how it flows and whatever but if it were a song, it would be a bunch of pots and pans being clanged together by a drunk shizophrenic.
i like the dio though.

Pffft. Philistine.
Impressionism is more like a classical instrumental (with Van Gogh's more abstract work being like a techno remix). :P
Also, nice dio. :)

Love the dio, very cool. Its Guenica by Pablo Picasso, which makes it cubist not impressionist. Its about the war in Spain and its senselessness in general. Sorry to be an art snob, but it was on my wall in college

This is true, and it almost killed my daughter a couple of weeks ago. Damned painting decided to let loose and swing from the wall on one nail while my little girl was underneath. I ran up and caught it before the nail on the other side came loose and it dropped on her.
Damn you Picasso!

Good work man!
I like the first pic, how FF is looking thru the window like assessing his target.

Yep.
Actually, Guernica is a village in Spain that got bombed. The painting it's about it.

It was also on my modern history textbook in high school, would love to see it in person. Not to upstage the dio here...loved his use of a perspective photo for the window.

Thanks again guys! I would love to see the painting too! I saw some of picassos sculptures in houston and they were amazing. Any ways this is the first diorama i've made and I am encouraged to do some more. I am working on a cobra urban embassy using those play sets from big lots.

Pretty freaking awesome, you should do a art stealing diorama,
I am sure Destro has some high class taste.

This painting is much of the reason why Picasso was exiled from his native Spain while ruled over by Generalissimo Francisco Franco of the Nationalist party.
When Picasso was in residence in Nazi occupied Paris he was harassed by the Nazi Gestapo. When one of the gestapo officers saw one of his reproductions with this image on it he asked "Did you do that?" to which Picassso replied "No you did".
