small upgrades

not so much customs but just upgrades to improve upon what Hasbro did.

we all know Grunt shaved but Breaker didn't. Breaker also is now armed with a Marader M-16 and his arms have been "fixed" so he can use it.

Hawk is ready to lead his troops into combat with his black gloves, better helmet and Marader M-16

Hawk is here again with a less buff Crankcase who can now use both hands.

Duke is also armed with the Marader M-16 and with his new "fixed" arms he can now shoulder fire it!

Duke and Flint both combat ready. Flint didn't want to get his hands dirty so he got some gloves.

Torch is angry! He is ready to fight. Lucky for him he has a new side arm but isn't smart enough to open his hand to use it.

thanks Money. All of them were simple. Grunt still has a bit of light stubble but not like he did have. Crankcase has the twins lower arms and hands. Hawk's helmet looks a lot better this way. Duke looks great like this now that he is able to shoot a gun right. and Torch has Shipwreck's hands, Gung Ho's side arm and his arms have been "fixed" as well. I'm not thrilled about Torch having a closed fist but I put the Crankcase hands on Shipwreck so he would have black gloves and had the left over grey ones. Plus it doesn't look so bad on him like that. He didn't need a watch and seems like the type to puch somebody for no reason.

I had an extra Stalker so I took his hands and painted the top part brown to match the rest.

Thanks... the next one I fix I'll take pics of it to show. With Torch I did it the easy way. I did the "boil and pop" on his lower arms then used an X-acto knife to cut the bottom front part of his upper arms. I cut enough off to make it so he could bend them right. With the rest I just took the x-acto blade and trimmed the upper arms while the lower arms were still attached. It is very simple and I'm shocked nobody has posted pics of how to do it yet.

they are BBI, i have some too, on my Crankcase...speaking of, it's crazy how a haircolor change makes Breaker and Crank look completely different...

that's kind of the way I see it too. I try to keep my "upgrades" simple. I don't want to do too much to them unless I have to. You know?

Hey Echo man I love the bearded Breaker head. What did you use to put a beard him? Is it just paint, or did you use sculpty as well?

I was thinking of getting an extra Rock 'N Roll just to use his head for Breaker and paint his hair and beard dark brown.

As for Grunt it's pretty cool how you removed his beard. If I pick him up I might just leave it on. I think he has that "I've been in the jungle for weeks and I don't have a razor" look. LOL

I like your idea for cutting the "Duke" type arms as well. Keep up the great work man.

um... the Breaker is just paint. to "shave" grunt I used some of my wife's nail polish remover. I wanted to leave some stubble on it so I went light with it. He still has a litle color there but nothing like what he had.

The Duke arms are pretty easy to fix. I took the idea from somebody else here but I can't remember who. I just think I'm the first one to show pics of how to do it. I hope a mod will get on and sticky the "how to" you know?
