I hear the Infinite Heroes line hasn't had all the articulation sculpted in yet, so heres hoping we at least get gijoe type articulation. It looks very promising so far, I mean a Commissioner Gordon pack with GCPD? BLACK ADAM!????!!!!!!.
NO MORE FACES PSYCHO PIRATE!! YES!!!
Hey btw, did any of you guys realize that this means MATTEL CAN MAKE SHAZAM NOW?!!!
Mattel is definitely getting on the ball with collectors now. Thankfully after all these years. If they can put in the same effort with He-Man, that franchise will finally not only thrive, but SURVIVE!
Gijoe, Hellboy, DC, Star Wars,....3-3/4" rules!

Reagrding the Infinite Heroes line, this was from Mattel at AFI:
Glad to see so many fans excited about the new Infinite Heroes line! We've had this one cooked up for a while now and are very please to finally reveal it to the fans.
This line will be a 3 3/4 scale line. Some of the figures you see on display are prototypes only. (and not all have the articulation built in yet) The exact figures which will be in wave 1 and 2 of Infinite Heroes will also be revealed at NY Comic Con.

JLU is exclusive to Target starting this fall, and the hard to find figures are returning, while Batman and Flash and whatnot will still be packed, they will not be overly packed like before. The New Gods and a bunch of other guys are coming out. DCUC is already geared towards collectors, so I think they are finally going in the right direction. Once JLU goes Target, its a collector orientated line from there on out.

Shin is right, the JLU news from ToyFare mag:
JLU will be Target exclusive starting this summer, and a New Gods 6 pack is coming with three new characters in it: Forager, Mantis and Lashina along with Mr. Miracle, Superman and Darkseid.
JLU Question is coming too, along with at least 12 new characters. Also some fan-requested repaints and redecos are due in the fall.
2009 will likely see a slew of animated style characters that were not on JLU along with the possibility of characters from former Timm-verse shows.

Guys I want to beleive but they said the same thing about masters of the universe and the batman line last year and the stuff was never to be seen at retail...I heard all the same stuff from these matttel people buts its just sad the way they run the company...true greed never considering a collector...unlike Hasbro who in the past 5 years has brought out some excellant product and pushed into the market liek a bat out of hell.
Mattel should learn from them if they want a strong market in the action figure aisles.

The Superfly
02-21-2008, 05:39 PM
Infinite Heroes will be out towards the end of summer, and the cost is 5.99 for singles, 15.99 for 3 packs.
Regarding JLU, Mattel posted this today:
Due to overwhelming support from the fans, Mattel and Target are teaming up to bring an all new Collector’s Line to store shelves starting this August!
16 brand new figures along with collector requested repaints and reissues will be available in singles,3-packs and 6 packs. Figures will be out in two waves. Each wave will consist of two 6-packs, two 3 packs and five single carded figures, some with brand new accessories. This line will be sold exclusively at Target stores starting Aug 1, 2008. At this time the line will be an in store exclusive only.
Wave 1 will be revealed at New York Comic Con in April and Wave 2 will be shown at Comic Con San Diego in July.
There may be a few other JLU surprises this year as well. But fans will just have to wait for the summer conventions to find out what!

I haven't purchased these since wave two about three years ago but saw the Wonder Woman wave and Artemis looks awesome. I'm guessing she's a single pack?? She's not on the back of the box. Artemis looks much better than the DC Direct one I have. Wonder Woman is ok....still feel the best was the Justice League DC Direct. But definitely the best Artemis.... I haven't bought any toyline outside of GI Joe for years (well, I buy Transformers Animated for my son as incentives for good grades). But cool figure!
morgana08
12-09-2008, 03:43 PM
I believe Artemis is what's called a chase figure. It's harder to find as they're not packed equally in cases or something to that effect.
I do agree that she looks very good from the ones I've seen on E-bay.
jbowman
12-09-2008, 04:15 PM
yeah,, Artemis is the very hard to find figure out of this wave, sold 2 at $35 a pop.. Wonder woman isnt that hard to find, she is packed either 2 or 1 depending on the case she is shipping in, same with the batman beyond figure. Artemis is great trade bait.

I want to find the regular Deathstroke. I lucked into the variant as my comic shop owner didn't know he was the variant.

Wow... that's mesmerizing...
Not a big fan of the Batman Beyond masked figure, but the Terry McGuiness figure if awesome! Saw it at Frank & Son's, but the guy wanted $30 for it.
Picked up multiples of the Deathstroke variant the other day... that is a sweet figure. Far better than the DCD version.

Whoah...I guess I didn't collect DC Universe...the one I stopped collecting is the one with the Doomsday and Supergirl in black costume. I did dig the two Batmans that were released...and that Batgirl. Batman was cool though..
http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3052/2842381009_91e11aa420.jpg?v=0
But looking at this DC Universe...for wave 4, I just saw Captain Atom...variant. That's the one I saw at the store...he was all gold. Is that hard to find? I would rather have the silver one.
Aww...man, looks like a lot of good figures came out on DC Universe. And to have them with better articulation than what I own for DC Direct is a plus! Achh...I want the Abin Sur and Green Lantern Hal Jordan...would fit into my GL collection!
http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3085/2842360206_8de8e260a4.jpg?v=0
But the last thing I need is to get back into these lines...I'm spending so much on GI Joe as it is. The last thing I need is to go gung-ho and start hunting for all these DC universe lines...or else, it'll be like the Marvel Legends addiction I had several years ago....

My Despero's right arm wont lock in. otherwise I love these.
I went to a Wal-Mart about an hour from where I live and saw older waves...Red tornado, Metamorpho, Penguin, Riddlers, the Demon, Black Manta, etc. old stuff but surprised to see them at $11.99. Again, I've been out of collecting any super hero lines for three years but I remember these used to be priced competitively with Marvel Legends. I'm surprised those went up too. They used to cost the same price as GI Joe's at $7.99. Stuff gets expensive.
But from these older lines, any certain character to keep an eye out for. Just Aquaman and Harley Quinn?
morgana08
12-11-2008, 11:45 AM
I know from those older ones that Aquaman and Harley have been said to be really hard to find.
I still see Red Tornado's at my Target.... though that's all that Target has ever had.

With the exception of Wave 3, I've had a very difficult time finding any of these in retail. The sculpts are great but a lot of people have severe quality issues with the figs. Mine all look good but I haven't taken them out of the package yet...
morgana08

I never really paid much attention to the quality of these. I mean, those that I have all have the correct hand or foot on the correct limb.... I think. Dang, now I have to go look. Only trouble was my brother had a hard time getting Grundy's pieces to fit in the torso part. Other than that, so far so good.

Not all of the Wal-Marts in my area carry DC Universe Classics. Only about 2 of them do. I haven't even seen the exclusive Wave 5 at either of those 2 stores.
I'm not that worried about it though because the only figure that I think I want in that wave is the Riddler. I would like to build Metallo but i'm not sure if I really want the other 4 figures in the wave.
By the way if anyone is on the lookout for the first 4 waves check your local Target for a sale there. I believe they will be only $8.99 until 2/9.

I got mine on eBay loose. I didn't want the Metallo figure (not my idea of his most iconic look) so buying them loose was great and saved me a ton of money. On Christmas Eve, I hit about 8 Walmarts in the Bryan/College Station, Navasota, Conroe, The Woodlands, Spring, and Humble areas of Texas. Only 1 Walmart had evidence of wave 5 DCUC. It was one of the Humble Walmarts and I got the only 2 figures they had: Amazo and Black Lightning. I think the only way I'll be able to get the rest of the wave 5 Walmart exclusive wave is if Mattel does a second production run or they start showing up again after wave 6 hits.
However, Targets in this my area are got wave 2.5 DCUC and I got wave 6 DCUC at a Walmart early this morning. I still need an Artemis from wave 4. The closest KB to me (which is 50 miles away in Conroe) only had wave 3 DCUC, so I wasn't able to get the KB wave 4 exclusives Batman Beyond and Cyborg.
I think with KB going out of business, Mattel needs to make those exclusives available on MattyCollector.com. Heck, I think all DCUC figures should be available to purchase on MattyCollector.
Say what you want to about Hasbro and HasbroToyShop, but Mattel shows how good a job Hasbro does in getting retail product to collectors.

I'm glad i'm not the only one having problems with this wave...(well that and Ares Walmart wave I HATE WALMART
EXCLUSIVES!!!)
Yeah so October I landed a complete set of Solomon Grundy with Sinestro Corp and Maskless deathstroke, and it wasnt til the end of November when picked up Wave 4 (missing Wonder Woman, Artemis and the Regular captain Atom) and now its just painful to walk into Walmart and see nothing not even a bar code for Wave 5....sigh...

I want wave 5 too! 6 Wal-Marts within a 30 minute drive radius, and none of them seem to have had them. Finally one of them got wave 6. Anyone here got wave 5 and want to trade? I've got the TRU two-packs, extra Aquamen (one of each version), Harley, Cyborg, Blue Sup and Red Sup from wave 2, and all 7 figs in wave 6.
I mostly want Riddler and Atom, then Eradicator, then Black Lightning. Not really interested in Amazo. Def need the first two.

Picked up all of Wave 6 in South Cali, for a friend in Jersey, never saw Wave 5. (I always hated how Cali got shit first, now I can do something about it.) I personally can give a rats lily white ass about this line due to the rarity and cost. I already collect everything G.I. Joe and Transformers, and JLU, and now MOTU Classics. I can't afford more stuff, particularly with the QC issues.

Those are some awesome figs. Darkseid was nice also. Doomsday would be great as a BAF like Grundy and Metallo was, but the one we got from the DCSH line is good enough.
I'm a lucky one I guess. I found 2 Riddlers once. Grabbed one. Kept going back to my WM at 2am in the morning for a few days, nothing.
Then while waiting for my dog to be groomed and all at Petsmart next door, I go to the WM. Found all the rest of wave 5. Came home with a happy dog and a happy me.
Haven't seen w6 yet, but that's okay. I need a break from those for a bit to get a few other things for now!

Hey all! I know there are a lot of DC Universe Classic fans here, and with the sweet sculpts Mattel keeps producing, Im sure there are more fans to come. And hopefully as the line grows in popularity, the quality control will get better. We'll see..
Anyway.. I stumbled accross a site that actually has pictures of the WAVE 9 figures!

Yeah, Im looking forward to seeing what other figures they come up with for this line this year.
Im hoping for a Wally version of Flash and a Kyle version of Green Lantern as well as some others.
Top 5 Im hoping for:
1) Power Girl (though it will be hard to beat the Infinite Crisis - Series 1 2006 version:
http://www.joeacevedo.com/images/figurezone/dcdfigures/dcdinfcrisis_powergirl.jpg
2) Flash (Wally West)
3) Green Lantern (Kyle Raynor)

5) Huntress
I also wouldnt mind seeing the rest of the JSA like Dr Midnight, Sandman, etc.

This is my hope, too, though I would prefer the Golden Age versions where possible (I can't believe that in the Mister Terrific wave, we get a lame Dr. Fate re-paint instead of Golden Age Terrific as the variant).
I also hope to see:
-classic Grayson Robin
-Speedy
-Aqualad
-Wonder Girl

Chemo was IIRC a part of the Metal Men's rogues gallery, and over time has battled Firestorm, Supergirl and Superman and has worked for Taskforce X (Suicide Squad) and the Society. He's responsible for wiping most of Bludhaven off the map when the Society dropped him like a bomb.
And I'm still looking for 5, 6, 7 and 8..

5) Huntress
I have that Power Girl figure, and you're right, it would be tough to top it. She fits in great with the DCUC figs.
My top 5 at this point:
1) Tommy Monaghan (I really doubt this one would ever happen...but I can dream)
2) Swamp Thing (I've heard that Mattel doesn't have license for Vertigo characters, but I'm hoping that since Swampy was around long before Vertigo that won't apply)
3) Guy Gardner
4) Martian Manhunter (seems like a given...he's about the only big gun left)
5) Warlord (another long shot, I would think)
There's tons of other mid-to-lower level DC characters I'd like to see made, but these are the top for me at this point, given who we know is already set for release. But guys like Sgt Rock, Phantom Stranger, Spectre, Dr Mid-nite, tons of others would be almost as welcome.
I'd still like to see a Starro BAF...

2. Sinestro Corp Herald: Parallax (Kyle Raynor) w/ Hal Jordan Variant & w/ Mattycollector Exclusive of Jordan Repossesed Yellow Version
3. Blue Beetle (Jamie Reyes) w/ Kingdom Come Variant
4. Titans of Tomorrow Wonder Girl
5. Superboy (Teen Titans Conner Kent)

Isn't this the same 3 pack that once included Superman? I know these figures have less then perfect articulation but I'm slowly coming around and starting to dig them. I'm hoping Mattel eventually gets around to making a Batmobile and other vehicles (fingers crossed on a Jokermobile). Bizarro is listed in a bunch of Wal-Mart skus that were found a couple months ago: 27084-72647 – P1993 – DCU Bizarro - $6.97.
The problem is that there's no real rhyme or reason to the release order, or even the numbering. Jay Garrick, single figure 47, is out in some stores, but he comes in a case with Lex Luthor (38) and some other figures in the 30's. No word on Cold or Grundy, but larger figures like Killer Croc and Mallah (and presumably Grundy would be reasonably close in size) have been put into multi-packs, and as someone already pointed out the Mallah pack was canceled. What this means for the future of big figures... who knows.

I love this line and it is my new addiction. I really did not want anything larger than the 4-inch scale, but this is very cool. I absolutely would buy 6-inch figures of G.I. Joe (ARAH only) after getting into this scale. They should make them.
I am surprised that there is not more talk about it on here.
So far, I am caught up through wave 8 (minus Eradicator and The Atom from wave 5 and missing some of the 2-packs light Lightray).

Love the figures, hate the hunt for them. With the regular waves, I just preorder them through BBTS. So far I'm caught up on all of them through wave 8, variants, exclusives and all. The Walmart wave 5 was surprising to see how hard they became, since our local Walmart put out about 20-30 of each character all at once. They were piled high. I do collect them, but due to the recent Wal-mart resets I will be unable to find any locally. I have all up to wave 8 including Lobo. Since I will not be able to buy them anymore from my local retailer I am considering selling my collection off. I see no reason having them if I cant collect them anymore.
I know most of you are saying by them from Ebay or an online retailer. The point is I should be able to get action figures made by Mattel at local retailers. I should not have to resort to buying online at inflated prices. I refuse to pay over 20 each for any of these figures, unless they are exclusives.

Thanks. Battle Suit Lex Luthor and Supergirl should be coming in a 2-pack next year. Darkseid will be the Collect-n-Connect figure for wave 12 and Doomsday will get similar treatment down the road. Bane might be a future candidate for a Collect-n-Connect figure, but all they really need to do is resculpt and straighten out his legs. Steel, Bizarro, Parasite and Scarecrow are still pretty reasonable on eBay, so I don't see them getting released again. The black suit Cassie Batgirl and NYCC exclusive Mr. Freeze would be great additions to future 2-packs or multi-packs. I'm sure the Four Horsemen will get the opportunity to sculpt a Tim Drake Robin in the red/green costume and another Killer Croc before the license is up in 2012.

All righty....so I found the remainder of Wave 9 today (Mantis, Green Arrow, and Wildcat) after finding Guardian, Black Adam, Black Canary, and Deadshot on Monday. It was the Kirby-Mantis, so I'm still on the lookout for the Super Powers Mantis, which was a HUGE favorite of mine when I was a kid (along with Steppenwolf).
Anyway, I think I'm very upset with Mattel over Green Arrow, because while the basic figure himself is fine, they really achieved (and I emphasize I hate using this kind of lingo just to show how strongly I feel about this) EPIC FAIL with his accessories.
So he comes with a bow, and four arrows: Boxing Glove Arrow, Bola arrow, Explosive-tip Arrow, and "Arrow" Arrow. Great right? Except for two things:
The Explosive arrow that's permanently attached to the bow he comes with, so without performing surgery on the bow you can't actually pose him getting ready to fire any of these trick arrows.
and
The quiver on his back does not have any place to put these trick arrows that he comes with.
Bad form Mattel...you fail at basic action figure accessory design 101.
In other news: I have never seen a single figure from Wave 8 in any of my local stores.

DCUC is the focus of my collecting at this point. I don't collect the line but I really like them. Considered collecting them when they first came out or at least the Batman themed figures but focused more on other lines. The only ones I have are the Wonder Twins which I ordered after this year's SDCC. I'm on the lookout for Gentleman Ghost and Green Arrow as I think they are great looking figs but I hardly ever see these anywhere. I've collected since wave 1!
Getting frustrated by the distribution and upcoming price hike to $14.99
I lucked into the Walmart wave, but no Atom so Metallo is missing am arm. Atom was crazy expensive at Wizardworld, and so were the rest.
Tried to find Gentleman Ghost so I could complete Giganta today, but found some wave 9 instead. Chemo is going to be pretty huge! Now I don't know if Gentleman Ghost will ever show back up.
My only other beef lately is how the best, or at least most demanded character in each wave comes with a figure stand. Why did this start? I've had to buy blue Aquaman, Commander Steel, and Guardian, who are all basic or not worth buying, for their figure parts. Meanwhile, I had to buy Flash separately, and it will be the same for Hawkgirl and Green Arrow.
For a lone that is even more anal about tooling than Joe, it seems they could just eliminate the duds

Do you have themes surrounding each of the gourping for your figures?
I assume the top shelf is your Superfriends: Super Powers Team/Justice League Unlimted group. Then, 2nd from the left are: JSA, New Gods, and Supermen from the Death of Superman Arc.
Third from the left are: Bat-Family, Batman's Rouges, after which I only recognize Etrigan and Gentleman Ghost, so I will say that is your supernatural beings group?
Fourth from the left are: Dark Knight, then, I only recognize Firestorm, Adam Strange, Parasite, Lobo from the first group, and Kid Flash, 2 Super Girls, 2 Green Lanterns on the second group, but I don't know how the groups relate to each other.

I only have AZRAEL from this line .... I want Bane too!
I love this line! I collected DC Direct figures way before this line came out.....and since they are in scale with the DCUC.....I can display them together. Plus....if I already have the DC Direct version of a character.....I dont need to buy the DCUC version. Currently Im looking for Gentleman Ghost, and Vigilante.....so I can complete my Giganta! I havent seen this wave at retail.....but bought Fate and Hawkgirl at a comicon last month. Im also looking for the Superpowers Parademon and Mantis. .

[IMG]Do you have themes surrounding each of the grouping for your figures?
You are right on identifying the different groups. The right side of the top shelf is mostly Legion of Doom. On the bottom shelf, Lobo, Starfire, Adam Strange, and modern Firestorm are all connected by the 52 storyline. Mongul, Doomsday, and Parasite are the Superman villains. The lower shelves have some mixed groupings because I am running out of room.

Actually the mentality behind Mattel's decision on the figure stands is extreme collector-friendly. For the folks that only want the "core characters" they don't get stuck with useless figure parts.
If you're obsessing over completing the build-a-figures, then you're most likely the type of collector that enjoys many of the secondary/more obscure characters that you have to buy to complete them, anyway. You might not like all of them, but if you're a build-a-figure collector then chances are very, very slim that you'll always like every single figure in a wave/line/whatever.
I think Mattel's doing a pretty great job with the rationales behind their assortments. Now if they'd just stop shipping those stupid revision cases that clog pegs and are probably why Series 8 never showed up in my area.

yeah, I think if it wasn't for some of the secondary/obscure characters not having a piece of the build a figures chances are they wouldn't sell which means mattel would stop making those type of characters.
Still means I've not bought Ocean Warrior Aquaman though since I think it is a terrible figure. Guess I'm gonna have to break down and do that though if I hope to complete Atom Smasher. Dang it!
Why must I be a fan of the JSA? Why? lol.

actually i did not buy that blue aquaman as he looks plain stupid. i just bought the baf part from some guy for 4 bucks. granted they are harder to come by now. you have to strike when the wave hits and people start dumping things they dont want.

I picked up wave 9 today! Got a whole set plus the variant Mantis too. But only the variant Wildcat. At least I think it's the variant. I picked up the purplish-gray one. And the Chemo torso he comes with doesn't have the extra bubbles piece inside the torso either that I've read about. So I guess I'll wait until I find a black Wildcat with the whole torso before I build Chemo. But Chemo looks to be the biggest BAF they've done for DCUC!
Oh, and Guardian's lame. So lame. 50 billion characters and they choose Guardian?

i've bought most but not all... mainly bought one of each character and I already had several DC Superheroes, though some new characters I've passed on also if I wasn't going for the BAF or if they didnt have a BAF part (like guardian, Hawkgirl, and Batman Beyond) I just wish I could find the wave 5 riddler, blacklightning, atom, and amazo. and the gentleman ghost to complete my giganta.
on a side note, anybody trying to get some atom smasher parts, check out my bst thread... lol

Guardian is indeed a very lame figure, but someone on the DCUC decision-making team has a raging hardon for Jack Kirby's DC creations.
Although if you swap the Guardian head onto the "classic" Dr. Fate I think you basically end up with "All Star Squadron" Dr. Fate, don't you?
Anyone still finding Wave 8 out there? I pretty much need that whole set.

Mr. Miracle
Dr. Impossible
Shazam
Booster Gold
Blue Aquaman
Killer Moth
Why? B/C That is all that is in stores around Atlanta. Screw you Mattell, you turned it into He-Man. This crap's been on pegs for MONTHS now. NOBODY likes these characters this much, not even in a city of over 5 million people.

I hate how Mattel continues to prolong releasing certain characters. Like where's Martian Manhunter, dang it!? I want my core 7 Justice League. Would be nice too if they could make a proper Teen Titans team rather then mix and match the characters between modern and classic.
I keep looking at my incomplete DC Minimates teams with worry DCUC ending up like them.

You're running into the same problem almost every toy line has: If they make everything everyone wants in the first year or two, then people stop buying.
Sprinkling the high-demand figures across multiple waves keeps people buying longer, especially with the build-a-figure gimmick mixed in.

I collect them too. Got most of everything from DCUC and many of the goodies from DCSH. Just lacking the DCSH wave 8 Catwoman and Two-Face, DCSH Brainiac, DCUC wave 8 Vigilante, and wave 5 Eradicator and Black Lightning for what I'd like to have. Oh and need most of wave 9 too--only seen three of these so far. Skipped over a few (IMO) losers like Killer Moth and Blue Camo Aquaman.
If anyone needs help locating, and wants to buy, basically anything from wave 6, wave 7, a wave 2 Jason Rusch Firestorm or either of the wave 2 Supermen, shoot me a PM and I'd be glad to help clear our shelf-warmers.
Sounds like a lot of folks need Gentleman Ghost. . .I'll keep my eyes open. I'm fortunate to have 4 WalMarts and 4 Targets within a short drive to hunt at!

Didn't enter because there are way too many people who need/want this wave more than me. I'd like to have a joker figure but not willing to jump through hoops for it. I'm not saying that's what you're doing, what you're doing is rad. By jumping through hoops I'm referring to employee's being bribed by scalpers to pull the case from the back however, I'm not sure how valid that is. Pallets are usually in plain view with case #'s on them, I don't see why a scalper/collector wouldn't just jack them off a pallet? I did find the majority of the wave on the 1st in Santa Clarita, both Jokers and Man-Bat were taken, but they had everybody else. These figures are expensive enough and I personally can't justify spending more than 20 dollars on them each. Maybe they'll eventually be common place, who knows?

The only way I found wave 10 was to buy out my walmart and take those figs away from the area... I did it to 2 walmarts and then went to the managers and asked them to order...
Scored a set from me and my bud a week and a half later... Since they aren't coded different, they will send wave 10 once the current stock is depleted as long as their DC has them. I actually told the toy manager at one of the stores that they would be hot and they ordered 6 cases...
Saw them run thru this week... 6 cases... one store..

My Walmart is packed with so many older cases. Probably like 5 each of several characters. Dr. Impossible is quite possible to locate.
These new ones are cool, but they are getting obscure to me. I've never heard of Trigon and I know who Doom Patrol is, but I've never read anything with them and couldn't name the characters.
I'd have preferred modern Superboy, but this one completes the Reign of the Supermen, although I'm waiting for the Sinestro Corps Cyborg, so it's poinless to me.
I do wish that the variant were simply swappable accessories.

Oh and still looking for wave 10 also. Only want a Joker and if I see her a Powergirl.

Once again, you come through huge! Thanks man!

I really like this line, but they haven't been around since the first WM exclusive wave. I've given up on them completely. Too bad, a lot of cool figures.

I got lucky I guess. I hit TRU everyday for about three weeks straight. I was just about to throw in the towel and sell them all off when I hit gold. I picked up Green Arrow, Super Powers Mantis, Dr Fate etc. Got lucky and found Joker at Walmart too. Never seen these figures since. Now all I need is Gentleman Ghost to complete Giganta.

NICE!!!! I have a question though, how does the head fit in the Imperiex body. Mine's all loose and wobbly. I can't tell if its because the body or the head.
Mine still MOC but according to some members of the Fwoosh, You gotta push it real hard and it eventually click in.
There's been a couple tha have actually broken the neck piece so I'll just put some paper/rubber band around the neck joint.

Nice! Does anyone know if Barbara is the variant Cheetah? I've already got a couple sweet renditions of the Priscilla Cheetah (Superfriends and Alex Ross), but the only Barbara version I've seen over the years is the original DCD release, and she's dwarfed by modern figures. She's long been a favorite character of mine. Ima need her.

Is it a big deal that the wave hit my walmart or is this a common phenomenon?

I myself did not want the entire wave, but miraculously got some about 4 weeks ago.
So I was able to get them, and help a friend in the great White North on here, by shipping them to him. He was stoked to get a full set.
I like the Joker sculpt myself.

Looking for the Robotman from the set was the final incident launching me into getting back into GI Joe.
Finally gave up on finding Robotman, but did manage to find a CS Snake Eyes.

Found all of them except Robotman, Beast-Boy, and Man-Bat. Keep hoping I'll stumble across the rest sooner or later, but am not holding my breath.
Then again, the last Wal-Mart exclusive wave seemed to have a "several months later" batch that hit my Wal-Mart well after most of the hype had died down. I'm hoping the same will happen with this wave.

How far are you from DC or MD? There is a store that had 3 cases as of last Friday. No Manbat but the other two were there.

I found the entire set about a month ago and bought them and sold them. Now I see a few from wave 10 here and there at my Walmart. Even been seeing wave 9 show up at my local Target.

I got them all this weekend. I was just going to get the Joker but they matched the $5.99 deal that Meijer had on them. So I had to get all 7 for that price.

Starting my Wave 11 reviews over at Articulated Discussion. First up is the Question, definitely not one of my favorite DCUC releases ever. You can check out my review at the link below.

These are a pretty big deal as they are Walmart exclusives and, from what I understand, the last Walmart exclusive wave for DCUC was pretty rare. Notwithstanding the exclusive status of this wave, there have been distribution issues for DCUC which fuels their value. Back on topic, I haven't seen them at all but I have to believe that these will be in abundance as the holidays roll on. At least I hope so. They are going for some big prices on ebay but I've heard more and more reports of people finding them in stores now.

They're becoming less and less rare. I see Powergirl, Batman, and Forager at my WM all the time. I have a whole set minus the ManBat.

I stumbled upon Batman and Man Bat at my local Walmart a few weeks back and bought them both. I went back two days later and they had two cases of the entire wave so i picked up Robotman, Joker and Beast-Boy. I didn't really want Powergirl or Forager so now i'm onto wave 11.

I just saw that Mattycollector is going to have DCU wave 11 box set on sale on the 15th. I don't know what they mean by box set but I hope they still have all the pieces to build Kilowog. I wasn't worried about it until I saw the picture on the whole wave except of Kilowog.

If anyone is looking for the Captain America and Skrull (?) packs plus any of the wave 10, I can get them for you at cost plus shipping.

I can't wait to build Kilowog!!
Besides him though the only one i want for sure is the red suited Steppenwolf so i don't foresee needing a box set. It seems pretty cool though.

I know what you mean, DC Classics seem to be really hard to procure unless you either stumble upon them or relentlessly hunt everyday for them. I wish they would fix that distribution problem of theirs.

They're going for not much more than cost on Ebay now. When they first hit, way back in September, the costs for them were astronomical. Now you can snag most of them for a little over retail if you're careful.
They are Wally exclusives, true, but nowhere near as hard to get hold of as the first Wally wave.

Wave 11 is very nice. Unfortunately they do suffer from the same neck articulation issues of the last couple of waves, but overall they are very well done.
