An extraction team has been sent to get Dusty out of trouble. He's being held in a wooded base and they have had to get out early because the enemy is hot on their tail.

"River Monster we've run into a problem and need to get the f@#k out of dodge ahead of schedule. We have 3 following about 5 minutes behind"

"They have back up! Concentrate on those fu#@ers that got away. The boat is too far out to be a concern"

"We got you covered! Get him on the boat and let's move"

"Don't worry, this fish has enough horse behind it to pull this bar with us"

"I got him! Quit shooting and get in the damn boat!"

"Alright, we're far enough out to call in the chopper to pick him up. Good job boys. He's banged up but he'll survive"

the lighting and focus makes it quite difficult to enjoy your photos. Additionally, it looks like 2 cobras giving dusty a piggyback ride while fleeing from Duke in a humvee...which is kinda confusing too.

Not being a smart ass...did Dusty get mugged or saved in this one? The humvee looked like a rescue to me, love the quality of the pics though nice work :)

duke is evil...where the hell have you been?

i like the scenery i can't tell what the figures are with dusty but i don't need to the captions help out with what's going on

however...the humvee is equipped with a TOW...no reason that boat got away...oh is the humvee from biglots?

that's what i was wondering. It's hard to tell who're the bad guys and who're the good guys. Plus the glaring sun kinda killed several of the pics for me.

Considering it's supposed to be a night mission this was the best lighting that I could get for it. Didn't want it to get much darker or it would be near impossible to see.

As for the Cobras giving him a piggy back, just go outside the ARAH box and consider them a SEAL team. I don't use the figures for how they are sold. I use them for situations. I do appreciate the feedback though. I try to keep it in mind on my shoots. Sometimes time does not allow it though.

Well, based upon the photos, it was hard to make them out, so i guesstimated who they might be based on the helmets...which kinda resembled the "fanmade" Neo Nightviper helmets i have seen on some folks NV customs. Perhaps designating them as SEaLs in your story exposition might have helped? Perhaps the Dukes would have been more "badguy" like if they had been changed in some way, or you had made their AK47s more prominent, perhaps in a close up shot of the opposition? I would have used Cobra Soldier heads or something with a mask under the helmets to give them more of an "insurgent/thirdworld" feel?

I think it's interesting what you are doing, and i have aspirations of someday snapping some dios. I just think in some of your shots, the "dramatic" photography compromises the content, and i generally feel that in photog, content is king.

Thanks for sharing it with us though, it's cool!

Thanks for the comments everyone. Like I said, I just make figures whatever. Most of the time I try not to really use names just so they don't get thought of as actual GI Joe even though they are. I enjoy POC because of how easy it has made it for me to just kit bash and set up. Hell, I bought something like 5 or 6 ROC Dukes just for stuff like this. Funny thing about this one is that every figure except the first 3 had POC Alley Viper heads. I'm not much of a figure customizer. I use PTE stuff because, well it looks better. GI Joe vehicles are cool but not always scale.

Of course I welcome any feedback to possibly use for other projects. I try to think of what I can but overlook things when coming up with an idea of a scene to make. This one was a pain because there were dogs running all over and I had about a 20 minute window to make it happen. A lot of my shots I try to make the shot more about the scenery instead of the scene.

Agreed with some that the low lighting and some of the poses make it unclear what's going on in the image, but on the positive, you absolutely nailed this shot:
