has anyone else been having issues with broken and flimsy parts on these super-expensive figures? I've had a few issues with things arriving snapped inside the box, being that I understand some of the plastic is so small it might be structurally inferior. I appreciate any feedback on this topic.

You should let Sideshow know about any issues and they will repair or replace your item hassle free. I had a Bespin Luke Skywalker figure's hand break off while I was trying to switch it out. Sideshow had me mail it back and replaced it immediately.

I have had a few things break. All I had to do was send them a pic of the broken item and they mailed me the replacement part. The same thing happened with a few crushed boxes. Give them a call and they will make it right.

super! I thank you for the help and will contact Sideshow tomorrow. In the past I have just re-bought items and ate the cost, but this new gun isn't cheap on eBay at all, and money is tight now, as is for everyone. thanks again...

ps - I now have to call them regarding my Flint.....just opened him to find damage to his belt/pants.

Sideshow customer support is great. Replaced my Firefly backpack...no problems.

Does this mean that the plastic used is brittle and might break in a couple of years? that would suck.

Not me, but yeah, the customer service is quite good.
I'm a little worried about the Flint waiting for me back home, hearing that two of you had issues with the same thing...
