Slaughter's Marauders Armadillo Question

Hey, everyone. I was just wondering if there was supposed to be some floor or something to the driver/cockpit area. I just got one from ebay and I can see straight down to the axle. How is a driver supposed to stand on that?

That is the unfortunate flaw of the Armadillo mold. They are all like that.

is this just in the marauders one? because i don't remember my original armadillo not having anything in the cockpit

I have two original Armadillos and both are open over the axles.
